Incredible Stay!

As a former resident of Carmel, this location is as good as it gets! We loved being able to walk right out the front door and onto scenic. The house was very clean and perfect size for our group of six. We can't wait to come back!

Amazing Views

The location of the house was amazing and we enjoyed to waking up to beautiful beach views. We had a wonderful stay and will consider coming back to this property in the future.

Post holiday getaway

Loved everything about this house! Location, layout, fireplaces, windows. Cozy, comfortable place to watch the beautiful ocean from scenic avenue. Marie was wonderful and responsive to questions. Will be back soon!

Perfect Carmel Get-Away!

Beautiful, well-appointed and comfortable home with all the amenities and an INCREDIBLE view of the sea! We went on daily walks from the home around Carmel Point and into town. The PM/host is very responsive, friendly, and all around a great host. We will definitely stay here again if we get the chance!

Beautiful Home & Location but in need of repairs and deep clean

First please note this property is probably about 2-3,000 sq ft and not the 6,000 noted and it's 3 bedrooms (1 of which is an in-law suite stand alone in the back yard). This home happily sleeps 6 adults/3 couples. This home can be tricky with kids if you want to use more than 2 bedrooms as the 3rd bedroom is located outside the main house (beds are also very high). There is also a pull out couch but it is in the central home area). The home has a lovely European style and it's located right on the waterfront! Note that this is the dog beach area but we found zero concerns with little kids and all the really well trained dogs. The rental agency did a great job communicating with us to get groceries in advance as well as a crib and high chair to the property. We unfortunately did not receive any pre trip instructions or post trip close out instructions. It seems like given the incorrect listing and emailed comms that you'll want to review everything in advance and reach out. They were very accessible. We also flagged to them a few things at the house that were in need of replacement or deep cleaning. We had two fixtures missing light bulbs, all windows missing screens and no AC, and a primary bathroom door where the lock was on the outside v inside. I know this lock situation was already resolved and they were working on the cleaning and light bulbs. Beautiful home & location as long as the work gets done to maintain it better.

Hello Ashley, we are disappointed to see this 3-star review. We work very hard to provide a 5-star experience to our guests, and whenever something is not satisfactory we are prompt with our responses and solutions. The home's size is not incorrectly listed, as you mentioned, and we did provide you with check-in and check-out instructions both in the property book and via our online communications. Regarding Air Conditioning and window screens, this is standard for our area due to the year-round temperate climate and lack of pesky bugs. Most people would prefer to take in the uninhibited view. We also provided you with the requested accommodations for the children in your party. This leaves us with some missing lightbulbs, which we do apologize for, but this hardly warrants a 3-star review. We hope that you would reconsider and request VRBO change your review to at least a 4-star experience, which we believe is more than reasonable.
