Welcome to our lovely house in the sunshine state!

Whether you come with family or friends, our place has everything you might need to have a wonderful time. Visit Disney World only 10mins. away, or 20mins Universal Studios, which is also close by!

Take advantage from our great centric location and visit as much as you can!

Make use of our private pool after a long exhausting day out! Spend quality time with your loved ones and enjoy doing a BBQ at sunset!

The closet doors were broke on the laundry room and the bedroom with two beds. No closet doors in one bedroom. Cob webs everywhere. Dust and dirt on vents. Broken or missing base boards. Bed in room facing the drive way felt like I was sleeping in a bowl. Pool was nice. Dryer worked. Dishwasher worked. Packages were left on the porch that where not ours and when we tried too contact the host their was no response. Check in and out was easy.

Would definitely stay again!

We stayed here for our daughter’s first disney trip and it was perfect! Just enough space and the added the heated pool feature which was great! The owner was great with communicating and we had a blast! We will definitely be staying again!

Great spot for a family vacation

The location was prefect for family's vacation in the area. Ample rooms for small to med size family. Are host was very responsive when we had questions.

2 stars — one for the very good and clean pool, and one for the size of the house.The cleanliness was extremely poor. The washing machine was broken upon arrival and remained full of stagnant water throughout the entire stay, producing a strong unpleasant smell. This indicates that laundry was not being properly handled before guest arrivals.When we checked in, the towels were already damp and hanging. The bed linens did not appear clean, and I even found a piece of a cut fingernail on top of the sheets, which is completely unacceptable.I also had to clean the bathtubs and shower myself, as they were clearly not properly cleaned, including visible hair on the walls.I contacted the host on the same day to report the issues and sent photos of everything, including a dirty toilet, but I received no response or support during the stay.Overall, while the house itself is spacious and the pool is very good, the lack of cleanliness and maintenance made the stay very disappointing and unacceptable. I would not recommend this property unless major improvements are made in cleaning and responsiveness.

Family vacation

Had a great one week stay, the house was very clean and the home owner Jose was quick to reply back when I asked a question. Overall very happy with our stay and can’t wait to come down for another family vacation.

Nice home for our stay

Nice rental for our family trip to Disney. Neighborhood is quiet, pool is great after a hot day outside. Kitchen dishware and eating utensils were lacking for a home this large. Owner was great in responding to a couple of issues.

Place was a bit of a dump. We entered and guest instructions were ripped off the wall. Host blamed it on a guest. I still had no wifi codes, no instructions for remotes, heat etc... I had no pool heat for a week although I paid for it. We lost AC and heat for 3 days but the host, although quick to respond, didn't put much effort into the fix. Even told me to try calling people!?! The issue was on-going and the 2nd HVAC company said they put a "band aid" on it the first time. Now he's claiming we left the place a mess and we smoked week in there. We don't smoke and we spent hours clearing the garbage, emptying the fridge, collecting the laundry sheets and towels we even did some towels. I wish I had taken videos for proof. Be very careful with this host. Finally after all this nonsense he said I complain a lot! Dang...

Wonderful vacation

Had a great 2 weeks at the house. Really enjoyed the pool. Returned back to house after day at attractions and AC was not working. Contacted Jose and it was repaired within 2 hours. Great service.

Upon check-in we had to continue try and reach the host for check-in information. Ultimately, I reached out to VRBO and they were able to finally reach the host. While 2 hours away when speaking the host informed me that there was an issue with the AC and they were getting someone there for repairs. We checked in after 6pm (2 hours after check-in time) to allow time for the repair. However, upon getting in the home the temperature was over 80 in the house. I contacted the host again and they said someone was coming to make the repair. That night a guy came and made the repair however, the host refused payment so the repair man removed the new part and we had to sleep in temps over 80. Luckily each room had a ceiling fan except one so we had to purchase a fan to help cool the room. One of our sons ended up getting sick on his stomach due to the heat. I asked for a refund only for the first day due to the circumstances and condition of the home since it was repaired on day 2 and the owner refused the refund. After using VRBO for many years this is the worst experience I have ever had and I have never had to leave a bad review. The home itself was nice, although it could be cleaned better but it's not a bad home. My advice and honest review is book at your own risk!

Home from home

The host was very hospitable and contacted me to ask me originally what I’d like my door code to be so it was something that I could remember. The property was big and spacious for us, it was clean and well presented. We were provided with towels throughout and cooking utensils. We loved the pool area and my son was in there to chill after the parks most days. It was in a good location, close to shops and restaurants and also a nice distance from Disney world. We also used it as a base to get to gator land, the Kennedy space centre and we went on an overnight trip to the Everglades and Miami Beach. Jose was a welcoming and responsive if I needed him. All in all we had a fabulous time, and will miss it!

Misrepresentation

Picture does not depict the house. Not same furniture (for comfortability). Paid for heated pool, did not work. Top it off, the Owner was accusing us of doing something to it. Not cool. Will not return. And I have rented homes for the past 10 years from VRBO. Sorry. Said he would refund $125.00, for no heat, the first 5 days. 4-4-24

Sandy Ridge stay

This is a very roomy, comfortable home that has accommodated two couples for the last six weeks. Would probably hold two full families as there are four bedrooms and three full baths. There is only one parking spot in the driveway, but it appears most neighbors use street parking. The kitchen was well stocked with utensils allowing us to have most meals in-house. It is located in a quiet neighborhood close to Publix and many restaurants. Very close to all Orlando activities. The traffic can be quite congested especially Interstate 4. We used alternate routes and were able to get around the Orlando area quite easily. Our only real issue was with the pool. As the personal pool was one of the main reasons for renting, it was important to have access to it every day. We discovered the first few days that there appeared to be a leak. Water was disappearing way faster than normal evaporation. The owner and pool man were made aware and we were told to go ahead and add water as needed. The problem began when the chlorine levels dropped to nothing due to the water addition. There didn’t appear to be much concern on the part of the owner and the pool man only comes once a week. After a period of five days without chlorine, we made our way to a pool store and added some ourselves. While this may not be a problem for a weekend stay, it definitely affected our vacation. Hopefully, this will be addressed for future rentals. Overall, we did enjoy our stay and would recommend to any future renters.

We had rented the property from May 27 to June 3. Upon our arrival at the house at 4:00 p.m., the staff were just finishing cleaning the house. There were also two individuals present who said they were trying to repair the washing machine. At 4:10 p.m., they told us that they had not been able to fix it and that they would contact the owner to ask what he wanted to do. They also told us that the washing machine was full of water.Our next step was to bring our belongings into the house. Once inside, there was a very bad smell in the house, which came from stagnant/rotten water in the washing machine.Shortly after our arrival, we became aware that there was no water in the house.We repeatedly tried to contact the owner/property manager, but received no response.We contacted the VRBO helpline and reported the situation. They also tried, without success, to reach the owner/property manager.We also wondered how the cleaning did manage to clean the house without any water.While we were communicating with the VRBO helpline, we noticed a notice on the door from Polk County stating that the water had been shut off due to non-payment. The notice indicated that, in order to have the water turned back on—presumably once the outstanding debt had been paid—contact could be made between 8:00 a.m. and 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday.We repeatedly tried to reach the owner/property manager and remained in contact with the VRBO helpline, but nothing happened. We enjoyed an outstanding stay at the property, thanks to our exceptional host. The location features a peaceful and calming neighborhood environment. The surrounding area offers a variety of restaurants and shopping centers within a five to ten minute radius. The residence was sufficiently spacious to accommodate my family, including adult children and their families, in comfort. The hot tub and pool were particularly enjoyable amenities.
