My wife and I are both from the Upstate of SC, and we love everything about living in this area. The mountains, the lakes, and the cities make for an incredible place to call home, whether that's for the long term or just for the weekend!
Why they chose this property
This neighborhood is one of the best spots on Lake Hartwell. Right in the middle of the lake, just around the corner from Portman Marina, just a short drive from Clemson, Anderson, and award-winning Greenville, SC, this house is the perfect getaway. The backyard is level and a gentle walk to the lake, and the water level drops off as soon as you get on the dock. There is 25 feet of water at the end of the dock when the lake is full. You have grocery stores, tackle shops, gas stations, and hardware stores within a few minutes of the house as well. Just a minute off of Highway 85, this home is perfect for a weekend trip with the family!
What makes this property unique
Guests will have access to our private dock overlooking the open waters of Lake Hartwell. Relax in the water or take a kayak out for a paddle. The basement has a game room, fun for all ages, and the outdoor backyard space is sure to make a lot of memories. Huddle up around the bonfire, grill some burgers and hot dogs, and enjoy everything Lake Hartwell and the "Hartwell Hotel" have to offer!
