We had a great time with our family/friends getting away for the weekend. The house is beautiful, spacious, and very well maintained. We really enjoyed being able to use the kayaks and paddleboard, and the view from the house and dock are gorgeous.

Awesome like new house. It had everything you would want in a vacation place. Master suite upstairs, two bedrooms two levels below with TV room gives great privacy. The dock just inside a quiet cove is perfect. Not busy and a great view of the lake. Loved having the kayaks available. Just a perfect trip. Would highly recommend!

Amazing use of space!

We found this great property to be exactly as the photos showed. The cove had a little boat traffic but it was all no wake zone. The kids enjoyed the water and paddle board. The only thing that would have made an incredible stay even better is if we caught more fish, but we had a blast trying. We would recommend and hope to stay here again.

Loved this lake house. Great location, like new home, beautifully decorated. Great layout with kitchen, dining and family room on the main/middle floor, master suite with huge bathroom and shower upstairs, and two bedrooms and bathroom and additional den area downstairs. Backyard was great with large patio and fire pit and a short walk to the large dock on the lake with a great view. Owner was easy to work with. Would definitely stay here again!

Great Friends Fishing Trip

Amazing location, great house, great time. Located less than a 5 min drive or boat trip to Portman marina. Very clean nice, newer home with great amenities - downstairs kids bunk room, play room, and single slip dock with a deck off one side. Would recommend to anyone for a great stay on the lake.

My wife and I are both from the Upstate of SC, and we love everything about living in this area. The mountains, the lakes, and the cities make for an incredible place to call home, whether that's for the long term or just for the weekend!

Why they chose this property

This neighborhood is one of the best spots on Lake Hartwell. Right in the middle of the lake, just around the corner from Portman Marina, just a short drive from Clemson, Anderson, and award-winning Greenville, SC, this house is the perfect getaway. The backyard is level and a gentle walk to the lake, and the water level drops off as soon as you get on the dock. There is 25 feet of water at the end of the dock when the lake is full. You have grocery stores, tackle shops, gas stations, and hardware stores within a few minutes of the house as well. Just a minute off of Highway 85, this home is perfect for a weekend trip with the family!

What makes this property unique

Guests will have access to our private dock overlooking the open waters of Lake Hartwell. Relax in the water or take a kayak out for a paddle. The basement has a game room, fun for all ages, and the outdoor backyard space is sure to make a lot of memories. Huddle up around the bonfire, grill some burgers and hot dogs, and enjoy everything Lake Hartwell and the "Hartwell Hotel" have to offer!
