We had an awesome time staying here. The location was perfect, close to Custer State Park, restaurants, and shopping. The place was nice and roomy for my family. We would definitely stay here again!
Great place to stay in Custer. The loft is extremely clean and nicely put together. The location is perfect for all surrounding activities, and it’s nice to be able to walk to dinner. Its’s lovely to have 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms in a rental. The beds are comfortable! We would happily book again.
Great location to all attractions in the area. Had everything we needed. Very clean and updated. Only negative is that there are no closets to hang clothes but wasn't a big deal. Beds were very comfortable. I would definitely stay here again on a future return trip! Host was easy to contact. Overall, great place!
Property was great. Loft was perfectly located for day trips to all the tourist attractions near Custer. The only downside is that all the luggage had to be carried up a flight of stairs no elevator We would stay there again.
This is located on the main road in Custer, with shops and restaurants all within walking distance. For those wanting to visit attractions both south of Custer (Mammoth Site and Evans Plunge in Hot Springs, Lake Angostura) and north of Custer (Mount Rushmore, Crazy Horse, Keystone, etc), this place is very centrally locate.
We used Custer as our base for a five day trip to SD. This apartment was in a fabulous location. It was clean and the owners even had a a free Custer State Park pass for us to use.
We loved the location right on the main road by all the restaurants. Everything was walkable within 2 blocks. The apartment was great, very quiet, supplied with basic essentials. Rooms were as expected, comfortable beds and pillows. Nice having 2 full baths. Highly recommend!
This new loft was great for our family of 6. It encompassed our wants well, 2 bedroom, 2 bath, air conditioned. We loved the newness and the location in downtown Custer. Owner was very attentive!! We would defitnately stay here again.
This newly renovated loft was in a great location right in town and close to Custer State Park. It was surprisingly quiet and had new amenities and furnishings. Beds were very comfortable and large shower heads were a bonus. We felt very comfortable and safe there!
Great location right in downtown Custer. The unit seemed newly updated. Beds were comfy and we appreciated the water bottles and snacks. We loved doing the camping puzzle and hanging out in the evenings after long days of sightseeing and wildlife spotting! If I could add anything it would be a dishwasher (no one wants to wash dishes on vacation - am I right?)
Parking was super convenient right out front. I would stay here again:-)
We loved staying in Downtown Custer! Close to all the sites we wanted to visit during the day, and we could walk to donuts in the morning or ice cream and souvenir shopping in the evening! Don’t miss the Custer skywalk trailhead behind the apartment. There are plenty of great restaurants nearby, but since we were cooking several meals to save money we wished for more kitchen items. Luckily we had packed a mixing bowl (there were none) and we had to go buy a spatula to flip our pancakes. The bedrooms and bathrooms were great, and plenty of tables and chairs for eating and game playing, but we wished for more than one couch for the 5 of us to enjoy a comfortable seat for a movie night. We didn’t realize when booking that there was more than one apartment in the loft, but it was surprisingly quiet, despite having close neighbors. Would happily stay there again!
Nice space and location but we would not rent here againThis rating is 2 due to some issues we hadSleeps 8 but couch only seats 3 so we used dining room chairsNot a pro or con but the beds are all extremely firm bordering on hardA/C was not operational for the season yet and the unit was 76-86 degrees insideWe bought floor fans at the local ACE to try to get it more comfortable inside as the bedroom windows did not help cool the kitchen or living areas There are no ceiling fans in kitchen or living room and the living room window does not open so no way to get air movement Rooms have fans but no ventilation ducts, there is a small A/C and heater in the kitchen that I don’t think would heat or cool the bedroomsNot listed as an amenity but no washer/dryer is a bummer
