Beautiful beachfront home with fantastic views, located on the Isle of Palms. This home was recently redecorated & painted with cheerful beachy colors & features many "Charleston" touches. Features include: fully equipped kitchen with new granite counter tops, dishwasher, washer & dryer, ceiling fans in every room, wood fireplace, screened porch with hammock, table and rockers, HD cable television with HBO, DVD player, WiFi, wet bar, huge master suite upstairs with private deck and extra large Jacuzzi tub. 1,898 sq ft. Gas grill, Linens included. No smoking. No pets.

Fireplace is not for guest use.

Note: To reach the beach, there is a beach path through the dunes or there is also a public board walk nearby.

*This is a Saturday-Saturday rental from 6/2/18 to 8/25/18; 3 night minimum in off season*

This home is spacious and provides great comfort, however, as previous guests have stated, the beach access needs attention... we were unable to use the direct beach access our entire stay. We enjoyed our time at IOP and Island Realty made check-in/out an easy process.

Owner's Response: Thank you for your review. Unfortunately we had, had considerable rain prior to your arrival. The beach access is not a boardwalk it is a path through the dunes. You may use the beach access here or there is also a public access just a few doors down. Please note the public access is also a path not a boardwalk. We look forward to seeing you again soon.

Great location. Older home that could use some attention. Many of the lights did not work, broken back screen door, back screen porch is not enclosed at top, commodes were loose, not to mention the beach access floods with any rain. That last part is rediculous. No reason u should pay that kind of money and not be able to access the beach. A board walk should be built like the neighbors on both sides. Future renters should know about this. House on left and right were built right on top of u as well. Zach the property manager was great. Did what he could and very responsive. The house also needs to be cleaned better.

Light Bulbs were out in several places. Have you ever tried to take a shower in the dark? No lights under the house where we parked the cars. One bedroom had two lamps but not sockets to plug them into. grill had mold and was filthy. Told maint man during his work in the house to replace filters and was told by him there was a spare grill that would be delivered plus replacement of bulbs. It never happened.

The location of this rental property is great. Right on the ocean and convenient to local shopping and Charleston. Unfortunately the upkeep of the house was poor. The house was dirty! Upon checking in (a day later than we were supposed to because of a wedding) the dishes were still out and dirty, numerous light bulbs were out around the house, cleaning supplies were still sitting on the stairs going upstairs, and there were flip flops and lipstick cases under my daughters bed. The gas grill did not work. There had been a massive leak in the roof and the ceiling in the master bedroom was in the process of being repaired but needed much more work and last but not least we had to wash some of the bedding. Was the bedding even changed? The paperwork of the guest before me was still on the counter when we got there so I'm not really sure if the place was cleaned or the staff started and stopped. At any rate, for the price that was charged for this house, this was a disappointment to say the least, and would be unacceptable to most families.

The weather was great. House is in a great location and the beach is not crowded directly in front of the house. Kitchen needs to be updated and the crossing to Dunes is not preferred. However, overall the house is nice and accommodating.

We love the front Beach location as well as being close to the town center. The front yard was big enough to play football or soccer. The master bedroom had it sound beautiful view. The big front porch was great for eating, relaxing evenings and late night conversations. The kitchen appliances could use some updating. We would definitely use it again.
