Unbeatable location for exploring London
The location of the apartment in Westminster truly is a short walk to St. James Park, Buckingham Palace, Westminster Abbey and Victoria Station. The London Underground entrance to St James Park Station is right next door the entrance to the building. The apartment was sufficient for our family of four. It was clean and well maintained. Marc was amazing in providing information and answering questions prior to our arrival, and there were several brand new guide books and other useful tourist provided at the apartment. We will definitely plan to stay here again on our next trip to London
Lovely Apartment / Great Location
My husband, two children (8 and 10 years) and I stayed at the property for 8 days. It was fabulous!! We loved having a place of our own, within walking distance to wonderful sites (5 minutes to Westminster Abbey and Parliament, for example). Located right by the underground (i.e. tube/metro) with a Starbucks across the street.
The apartment is very comfortable - perfect for 4 occupants. It is well maintained/in wonderful condition with a very nice kitchen and bathroom. We appreciated having a kitchen so we didn't have to eat out all the time as well as a washer/dryer, so we could travel with fewer bags. The building is quiet (a little noisy outside in the evenings - not surprising, as it is in the heart of London) and in good shape.
Marc was incredibly responsive. He timely sent us information prior to our stay and was really helpful as we had questions about places to eat, buy groceries and getting to and from the airport.
I would absolutely recommend this location. It really contributed to our wonderful trip to London!
Elizabeth, wonderful to read your review of your stay at the apartment. Great to hear you and your family enjoyed the time spent in London and left with many happy memories. Big thank you for choosing to stay at my apartment, Marc
Location, Location, Location!!!
The location of this apartment is PERFECT for exploring London! My husband, two teens and I just spent 5 days in London over Spring Break and I am so happy that we rented this apartment! It literally made our trip! A very easy walk to Westminster Abbey, Big Ben, Parliament, Thames River, London Eye, Churchill War Rooms, St James Park and Buckingham Palace. Plus several excellent pubs on the same street and a tube stop. Marc was a fantastic host, happily accommodated our check in/check out needs and answered every question we had in a timely manner. We will definitely be back! Thank you so much!!
Andrea, thank you very much for taking time to comment of your stay at the apartment. You and your family were great guests and look forward to welcoming you back very soon. Marc
Incredible Location and Lots of Space!
After 2 weeks of traveling it was great to arrive mid-afternooon to a fresh smelling, clean, warm, and spacious apartment with an electric washer and electric dryer! Though we were just 2, a family of 4 could easily function in the space so long as you can juggle one bathroom. The ‘guest box’ provided recommendations for really good, reasonably priced shopping and restaurant options within easy walking distance and Starbucks was just across the street (great spot for Uber pickup). If you are accustomed to a quiet/rural environment, use the oscillating fans provided for white noise at night. During our stay, the St James Park Tube station (right beside the apartment) was not open on Saturday which forced us to come up with a different plan to get to Heathrow as we were walking out the door for the airport. Make sure to check on openings/closings to cover that situation. Overall, it was a great place to stay and we would stay there again if the mattress is upgraded...and that is a purely personal choice and might not bother anyone else!
Hello Darlene thank you very much for taking time to review your stay at the apartment and your kind words in private about the helpfulness of my housekeeper. If I may comment too re, the closure of St James's Park Tube Station. The station has two entrances, the "side entrance" is occasionally shut weekends, yet the "main entrance" located on Broadway (1 minutes walk from apartment) is open 7 days a week. Again, thank you for choosing to stay at my apartment, you were perfect guests and look forward to welcoming you back sometime soon. Marc.
This flat was perfect for everything I needed. The close proximity to St James station made navigating London a snap. Everything in the apartment was well kept and comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked with the essentials. Marc was friendly and helpful and responded to any queries very quickly. If I return to London, this is where I will stay!
Kim, thank you very much for taking time to comment on your stay here in London. It was a real pleasure having you as a guest and are welcome back anytime soon. Marc
