This Jungle themed two story house sits nestled amongst gorgeous ancient oak trees in Old Seminole Heights Florida. It includes an upstairs master suite loft with a skylight, two downstairs bedrooms, and an additional room with two twin beds, sleeping up to 10 people total with a full bath on each floor. Just one mile south of the Hillsborough river, known to be the next trending spot in Tampa. 9 minute drive to downtown Tampa. Make some memories at this unique and family-friendly place. Just minutes from Busch Gardens, Raymond James Stadium, Ybor City, museums, theme parks, beach’s, nature walks, amazing thrift stores, ports and the airport. St Pete beach is under 30 minutes away! Davis Island dog beach is about 12 minutes away.

You will have a unique and authentic one-of-a-kind experience. I leave plenty of appliances, cooking supplies, spices and utensils for guests. Fully loaded kitchen you can actually cook in! Make memories with the family. Or enjoy a zen, meditative escape, overflowing with plants. Private self check in. Free parking for up to 4 vehicles.

Fully fenced in back yard space has a screened in patio and sun deck with lounge chair for tanning or star gazing at night (bring your yoga mat!) a covered carport with outdoor sectional seating, two hammocks, and 200 square feet of turfed game space with corn-hole and games for all ages. Family and dog friendly!

GAMES: Newly added, air conditioned, detached Jungle themed game room! Open space for twister, karaoke, bingo, giant Jenga, arts and crafts, and a projector for movie theater style entertainment that connects to your laptop! Grab some popcorn from inside! The yellow shed is full of bikes and helmets for guests as well. :)

Awesome place to stay

The place was pretty nice, clean and it accommodate all of us. Plenty of extra towels, overall our stay was awesome and I recommend the place for a big group to stay.

Fun space for a weekend!

Great little property with tons of things to do! We had a big group of friends/family staying here for a weekend at Busch Gardens. The decor is super fun, the space was clean and organized, and there was plenty to do, including games, karaoke, bikes/helmets, and board games. Host communication was awesome and very timely, and we would not hesitate to stay here again!

Spent the night before our cruise

We used this place to stay the night before our cruise the next morning. It was close by and my husband was able to suttle us in groups to the port. It was perfect.

Great price for a comfy stay

Our stay was really good overall. The house is much smaller in-person then it is in the photos, but there are a number of rooms/bed so there is plenty of room to sleep. The neighborhood was a little out of the way and a little run down, but we felt safe in spite of that. Check in and check out was quick and easy!

We had an amazing stay at this property! The home was perfect for our group of 7, with plenty of space both inside and out. The location was also fantastic—close to everything we needed in Tampa. The host was extremely accommodating and even allowed us a late checkout the morning of departure, which made our departure much more convenient. I would absolutely recommend this property to anyone looking for a comfortable, well-located place in Tampa for a large group. We’d definitely stay here again!

Christmas Stay

The Jungle House was perfect for our week long Christmas reunion. There was more than enough room for six adults, one teenager, and a child. Location was great for every we site we wanted to see, quiet neighborhood, and a great host. Tara even got a jungle theme Christmas tree for the occasion!

Fun house, cute neighborhood

Stayed for a short visit after getting in from a cruise. Short drive from cruise port. Owner is quick with message responses and very accommodating. Our younger kids loved the fun backyard and decor of the house. Would definitely stay here again.

Storm getaway

We had a great time even though we were going to get away from the strom and storm surge. The house was great it had all we needed and it held up wonderful especially in the hurricane. Tara was an awsome host. We will definitely stay here again in the future.

Great stay fun aura

We stayed for three nights for a USF graduation. Lots of rooms for everyone to spread out and lots of little nooks. Outdoor area was wonderful and we wish it hd been a little warmer to enjoy. Publix very closeby if you need something. Loved all the plants!

Everything was great! Tara made the whole process so easy. We had to make some changes as our stay got closer and she worked with us so graciously. I would recommend "The Jungle" and we will stay again if we have opportunity.

15th birthday trip

We choose this house for my daughter's 15th birthday celebration. We spent the day at Busch Gardens and had a short drive to the house. There was 10 of us and there was plenty of room for everyone. We live on the other coast, so it was nice to not have to drive all the way home after a long day.

Very nice home.

This home is very well kept. It has live plants in the home which gives you an “at home” feeling. We were glad to have a full kitchen, even though we didn’t really cook anything. The neighborhood was quiet. The yard has nice nooks for sitting and enjoying the night air.

Cute property, love the layout and theme was awesome. Close to Busch Gardens. We had issues with front bedroom TV and upstairs werent working. I would prob add white noise or sound machine due to local noises

Cute and convenient location!

This property was really cute and eclectic and everyone was able to find a comfortable place to sleep. We attended a concert at Raymond James stadium and were able to get back to the vrbo very quickly and easily. The showers were a bit older but that’s to be expected in a historical neighborhood. The only issue we had was that upstairs at night when it rained, the sound made from rain drops hitting the skylight was so loud it woke us up even though it wasn’t raining that hard although I don’t know if that issue can be mitigated I’m guessing it has to do with the material of the skylight window, just something to be aware of. Overall we felt safe and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay.

Nice place with plenty space

We just needed a place to stay for 1 night after our cruise while we waited for our flight the next day. We had 7 adults and 2 kids and there was plenty of room for all of us to sleep comfortably. Host stayed there in an RV in the driveway but we never saw or heard from her at all and she answered questions in a timely manner. My only advice for the host is to leave more detailed check out instructions as there weren't any at all so we just cleaned up, put trash by the front door and left all bedding as it was. Thank you!

Great location for getting around!

We had never been to Tampa and this house was a fantastic place to be our home base! It’s close to everything without having to get on any freeways. There is also a fantastic food scene that is all within ten minutes. The house has a cool layout with a bedroom and bathroom upstairs and then three bedrooms downstairs with the living space in the middle of everything. There were some games under the tv that we took advantage of and the whole place has a relaxing vibe to it. The neighborhood is quiet at night and you get woken up by singing birds in the morning! The only negative thing would be if it rains heavily at night. My husband and I slept upstairs where there is a wonderful sky light, but I think some things may have been falling on it from the tree during a bit of rain and wind at night. It was pretty loud and kept waking us up. Otherwise it was a great room to stay in! Tara was terrific about getting any questions I had answered quickly and in a super friendly manner :)

Location, location, location! Minutes from everything Tampa has to offer. Quiet, family friendly street. I also love the ancient oak trees that shade the streets and the Hillsborough river is a short walk away.

What makes this property unique

The tropical plants, cozy at-home feel with lots of family games, and the eclectic jungle decor. The back yard comes alive at night with multicolor string lights and solar lights. The home has everything you could possibly need during your stay. Even popcorn!
