Bedrooms 4
Space 2,368 sq. ft.
Property type cabin
Minimum Stay 3 nights

About the property

Cabin, 4 Bedrooms, 3 Baths, (Sleeps 10-11).

Relax your mind and enjoy a slower pace at our beautiful 4 bedroom/3 bathroom cabin located in a gated community in Pigeon Forge. The cabin also has a security system giving you even more peace of mind. Wagon Wheel Trail is a peaceful retreat that is tucked into a wooded setting, but still only minutes from all the area attractions, including Dollywood, Splash County, shopping and restaurants. Although the road leading up to the cabin is pretty steep, it’s also fairly short and well worth it.

Enjoy the fantastic views of Mt. Leconte from any of the 3 balconies. The balconies all have rocking chairs so you can sit and enjoy the serene mountain views and maybe even spot some of the local wildlife. The hot tub is located on the lower balcony on the side of the cabin with no neighbors giving you privacy, and seclusion.

The main floor of the cabin opens to an inviting living area with a large stone fireplace, a kitchen stocked with everything needed to cook a great meal, and a dining area featuring a sassafras table and chairs. Located on this main floor you will also find a spacious bedroom with a king size log bed, a hallway bathroom with jetted tub, and a washer/dryer. Upstairs is a master king suite with private bathroom and balcony. The lower level offers a queen bedroom, game room, children’s bedroom and shared bathroom. The children’s room features a bunk bed and a very unique covered wagon bed. The game room includes a pool table, darts and a tabletop arcade with over 100 classic games including Pac Man, Galaga and Frogger.

Wagon Wheel Trail is the perfect place for the whole family to get together and enjoy some quality time away from the hustle and bustle of our normally very busy lives.

We’ve stocked our cabin with all the conveniences of home and hope that you’ll enjoy staying here as much as our family does.

Great CLEAN cabin

  • 5 of 5

We had a great time staying at the wagon wheel trail cabin! The owners were very accomadating and let us come a night early then we actually booked. The cabin was extremely clean and very beautiful views! We will be staying again!

Amazing Family Stay!

  • 5 of 5

What an amazing vacation! We stayed at the Wagon Wheel Cabin with our two families and it was absolutely wonderful! The kids had the lower level and had a blast with the game room. The adults had the middle and upper levels and could actually relax knowing the kids were having fun. The cabin was beautifully decorated, CLEAN, had all the extras (DVD, cable, hot tub, dishes/pots/dishwasher/crock pot, and tons of games!) We actually brought a lot not knowing what to expect, and didn't need any of it. It was soooo relaxing sitting on the rocking chairs watching the sun rise. Other than not having enough room to store our dry goods (perhaps an extra pantry cabinet to the left of the fridge may help), and the uphill drive (but made it all worth it), we loved this cabin!

We left a list of fun/inexpensive things to do that will help future cabin visitors, as we fumbled about trying to find great places to go that didn't cost a lot. Best place was Greenbrier Road - awesome for tubing, chilling in the waterfalls, or just watching the fun. Hope future visitors can use it :)

We cannot wait til next year and look forward to coming back! Thank you Jim & Teresa for an amazing vacation!

Great stay for extended family!

  • 4 of 5

We had 9 people for a week (6 adults and 3 children). Having the hot tub access thru the kids bedroom meant the adults had to get out early to avoid waking the kids. The kitchen lacked a bit in counter space, but was well equipped. The ice maker didn't keep up, but bagged ice worked. Everyone got to see two adult bears the 2nd night there. It was great to see that up close. We ate breakfasts and dinner most nights at the cabin (twice using the charcoal grill). The grill is very small but did the job. The drive up to the cabin was a bit challenging but fun. The pool table needs shorter sticks or a bigger space to play. The beds were comfortable and one of the granddaughters wanted to take the pillows home. Having three full baths was great. The baby gates came in handy with the youngest grandson and the older grandkids liked the "old school" video games. The hot water heater broke down during our stay, but was fixed and we had hot water again before the end of the day. We even played some of the games we found in the closet during our stay. The washer and dryer were handy and we appreciated having detergent and softener supplied. There were plenty of garbage bags, coffee, dish soap, paper towels, toilet paper and Kleenex also. Salt and pepper and napkins were supplied. There was also a bit of charcoal and lighter fluid as well as an aim and flame. The owners even had soaps and some shampoo in the bathrooms which are all nice touches. There were plenty of fluffy bath towels also. All in all a great stay.
