The dunes come right up to the edge of your balcony at this first-floor, beachfront condo in Ocean City, where you'll wake up each morning to the sun rising over the Atlantic. Enjoy direct access to the beach from the grounds and a lovely, oceanfront swimming pool to cool you off in the afternoons.

In many ways, this oceanfront condo boasts the perfect Ocean City location. In addition to being right on the beach, you'll be two blocks from Jolly Roger Amusement Park and Splash Mountain Water Park, three blocks from the northern end of the Ocean City Boardwalk, and a matter of steps from all sorts of restaurants, beachy eateries, bars, shops, and sources of entertainment.

A back wall of sliding glass frames the beach and the ocean, filling the living room with sunlight. It's a gorgeous scene to take in whether you're sipping a cold cocktail outside on the balcony, cooking in the well-equipped kitchen, sitting down to dinner at the dining table, or watching movies on the living room TV.

Additional features of the condo include another TV in the bedroom, a stacked washer/dryer for your swimsuits and beach towels, and both complimentary WiFi and central air conditioning throughout the space.

This property was incredibly accessible, with clear instructions provided well in advance of our arrival. Parking was included and easy to access, which made things even smoother. Conveniently located Condo

The location of this condo is great and the convenience features such as the washer and dryer in-unit is a nice touch. The pool is also very nice and well maintained. The condo is spacious for a one bedroom and has a nice private balcony overlooking the beach. Our only complaint is that the unit could use a good deep cleaning (carpet shampooing, fan cleaning, shower scrubbing, etc...). Would definitely stay here again and recommend this unit after a good deep cleaning.

This condo checked all the boxes for our family of 4. If you’re looking for a great location that’s on the beach, has access to a pool, and still close to fun things to do in OC you won’t be disappointed. The bedroom could use an upgrade if you care about decor/furniture and our bathroom sink was clogged when we arrived but we made do. Our favorite thing was the balcony with a HUGE sliding door for a great ocean view and the comfy cozy living room. We will be back!

We had an amazing time. Sea Gate 201 is fabulous. Family friendly. Quiet. Close to a lot of attractions. The customer service was great. We had no issues. The condo was clean, comfortable, and had beyond amazing ocean view. Easy access to beach. Etc, etc, etc. We will definitely be returning to this property and trying other destinations issues using Vrbo, Vacasa. Great experience and highly recommended.

This rental had a great location, beach access and easy check in. The rental had been cleaned for our stay with clean toilet and bathroom sink and fresh linens. I give this place a solid 3 stars because it really needs updating- all the baseboards are dirty, some kitchen cabinets falling apart, the shower has mold growing in grout and shower head clogged, the bedroom wallpaper is coming off the walls and the bunk beds are pretty wobbly. It is just really shabby looking. The bathroom had floor mats/rugs that were filthy- not been washed in a long time. We did enjoy the patio and the family room furniture is nice.

The good: This place has the perfect view and was the perfect size for the 3 of us. Furniture was comfortable, there was plenty of cups/plates/bowls. Location is perfect and close to walk to a lot of the local attractions/resturants, quick walk to the beach and the pool was super clean. Downfall was the cleanliness of the condo, sheets and blankets were dirty, the condo reeks of mildew/mold. We discovered what appears to be mold coming out of the vent in the bedroom. Also, the bunk bed unit could use some tightening, it is very wobbly.

Some Issues

The property wasn’t as clean as I would have expected. There were a lot of minor damages to the property and the shower was a little dirty. We did arrive early with a baby under 1 and they did not allow early check in which is okay but I have stayed at another condo in the same unit and they have allowed it. I could not connect to WiFi and messaged management which they basically told me the password is correct. After a few exchanges I received an email from someone else providing me with the correct password however this was the afternoon before check out. This was an okay spot to stay but again I have stayed at Seagate before in a different condo and this place was a bit of a disappointment in comparison.

This place needs a refresh….and there is some short in the electricity servicing the bedroom (so the lights, fan, outlets did not work). The carpets are pretty gross. We had bedsheets that had blood stains. We contacted Vacasa twice with the electricity issue on our first day there, but no one ever responded. On the positive side, it is a very good location, kitchen has real appliances, washer and dryer worked great, view of ocean was excellent, and can’t beat the steps to the beach. This place could be dynamite if the above issues would have been addressed and some needed TLC been given to what is an aging spot.

Moms’ trip

Our condo was beautiful. Our stay was very pleasant. The size was perfect for us, four moms for a weekend. The location couldn’t be better. The immediate access to the beach was great. Our doors opened completely up to the balcony view of the beach which was absolutely stunning. Our downfalls: cleanliness could be improved. The shower doors and shower head were not cleaned very well. The carpet had a lot of stains especially being whiteish. The doorknob with the code was absolutely horrible to work. We stood there for a while each time trying to get it to work with the extremely long code that we had to pull out our phones for each time. I understand turning the air down between guests but when we arrived it was HOT. it took a while for the room to cool down to a good temperature. The bunk beds weren’t the greatest. We understand having bunks for space to have room for more people, but to have beds on top of each other, they should be better quality. The people on the top and bottom bunk can feel each other moving all night and they seem very unsturdy. Overall, these were only little inconveniences. We would absolutely stay again.
