This home is thoughtfully situated on a genuine Flathead Cherry Orchard with easy and short access (just .2 miles) to the dazzling fresh water of Flathead Lake. Just over an hour to the Crown of The Continent, Glacier National Park. Or head an hour and a half south to the college town of Missoula. The charming village of Bigfork is a half hour’s drive and the burgeoning City of Kalispell just an hour north . Fish, hike, golf, bike, kayak, ski and snowboard, photograph or sketch the awe-inspiring scenery, dine out, shop, including some seriously fabulous antique finds, pick Flathead cherries and huckleberries, or just stay in and relax. We stayed here for a cousin's reunion and it was perfect for us!! Such a wonderful location (near Flathead Lake and close to Glacier Nat'l Park), the house was clean and extremely well stocked. We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it

The house is beautiful, and we enjoyed our stay. We loved watching the dear and one wild turkey that would visit every day. The kitchen is fully stocked but you'll need to bring your own shower soap, as that is not provided.

Nice location, no traffic, close to 2 restaurants (about 8 minutes away) and Polson just 20 minutes. State Park is 0.5 miles away with lake access.

We brought our 3 adult children, their spouses, and our 5 grandchildren to Cherry Orchard for a wonderful 3 day stay. After staying 4 days at another great VRBO down in Bitterroot Valley, it was truley the "cherry" on top for an excellent Montana memory making trip. Cherry Orchard was a perfect fit for our 12. Deer greeted us upon arrival and literally laid in the yard everyday. 9 bucks, 4 with nice racks meandered around the large field out front. The home was well appointed and furnished everything we needed for a Montana vacation, including bear spray for our Glacier National Park trip. Thank you so much for opening your beautiful home to us that can only dip our toes into such luxury in God's country.

Ball Family Reunion

Lovely location close to Finley Point State Park where our boats were docked. Hub for family gathering and very well outfitted for meal prep for 22 adults and 5 kids including handicapped 6 year old. Enjoyable east and west decks for relaxing and watching deer and other wildlife.

Great Location

We loved staying at the Orchard house. The house was great for our group of 9. Great location and loved watching all of the deer in the front yard. We ended up renting a boat and docked at the state park just a .25 miles down the road. We appreciated all of the generous supplies that got us through our week.

Orchard Finley Point Vacation

We had an awesome vacay experience with not only this VRBO home but the surrounding area along with Glacier National Park was amazing and beautiful. We counted 13 deer grazing in the front yard one evening. The area is quiet and peaceful and deer stop by each evening. Lovely environment and definitely recommend the place.

Absolutely Amazing!

Our 8 day stay at The Orchard House was absolutely amazing! 8 adults and 3 kids enjoyed every minute at this spacious, well stocked castle! We spent most of the time between the front and back porches and enjoyed being entertained all day long by the deer and birds. The cherries were a great treat! It was an easy walk to the beach. We look forward to returning some day and staying longer!

Our 25th Anniversary get together

House was perfect to accommodate all 10 friends. Great location amongst the Cherry Orchards. We could walk/ ride bikes to State Park where we had our boat in a slip. House had everything we needed to cook. We were thankful for air conditioning which was not in the VRBO description.

Family Reunion

This house is an outstanding place for a gathering, family or friends or otherwise! We were a group of 8 adults and 7 children aged 1 thru 9 and it served us perfectly.The second kitchen was extremely helpful when preparing meals and the sleeping arrangements and bathrooms were ideal. The grounds were lovely and the wildlife was a real treat. It is located near a number of places and activities we participated in. I would highly recommend this home and fully expect to return again in the future!

Clean & comfortable

This house was perfect for our extended family to stay in while visiting Finley Point. It was clean, beds were comfortable, plenty of hot water for showers and great location if you don’t need to be on the water. We enjoyed watching the deer graze and the cherries ripen on the trees. We also appreciated all of the basic amenities being provided like handsoap, toilet paper, dishsoap and laundry detergent. My only suggestion for improvement is updating the pots and pans and considering adding some beach towels for those who want to swim in the lake. The nonstick coating is getting old and comes off in the food sometimes. We will definitely be coming back!

bucket list family vacation

The Orchard House was truly amazing. Location was perfect with few neighbors, yet very close to the lake and the state park, we could walk, bike or drive to. The house set up was ideal for our 12 person family. My wife and I, our 3 children, and 7 grand children. Everyone had their own bedroom and bath, and the loft was perfect for the older grandchildren. 2 living rooms and kitchens allowed us to spread out and really enjoy together and alone time. 6-12 Deer in the yard every evening, and 2 visits from black bears into the back yard and onto the deck. A bit un-nerving but pretty cool to witness. thank you for sharing your amazing property with our family. They all loved it so much that we plan to return next year.

A wonderful stay

This beautiful home was nestled in a cherry orchard just a few minute walk from Flathead Lake. This house was private and quiet and we very much enjoyed sitting on the deck in the morning and evenings watching the deer. There were so many and they would even come close to you and walk by the side doors as you were eating breakfast in the mornings. It was very neat! The house was spacious… there were 10 of us and we had plenty of space. The house had everything we needed to cook evening meals. Very clean! The house is about 20 min drive to Walmart/grocery store and the walk to the lake was about 15 min. This place is a gem and glad we were able to stay for the week. We will miss the deer and the sweet cherries. We hope to stay again some day!

Incredible Wildlife

The house is great for groups. There were plenty of dishes, glasses and utensils. The beds are very comfortable. Plenty of towels and paper products. We couldn't believe as we rode up the driveway there were dozens of deer on the property. Then within an hour we saw more deer, 3 bears and a wild turkey. And they were there every single day. Flathead Lake is gorgeous and just a short walk to the Flathead Park. It's a great house to use as a home base for day trips north and south. The sunsets were beautiful in spite of the smoke from the CA fires. The house could use a little TLC though. The decks need some serious power washing, the shower curtains can use a washing or replacements, and the knives in the kitchens are in desperate need of a sharpener. The couches in the living room really should be replaced as once you land in them, you sink and it's a struggle to get back out! In spite of these few drawbacks, I would definitely recommend the house.

Hello, We wanted to respond and let you know that we sanded and stained the deck and railings, we bought new shower curtains(washable ones, to be washed after each tenancy) We purchased a knife sharpener. Our Orchard House Stay was Fabulous!

We reserved the Orchard House for 6 nights, 7 days for a family getaway - six adults, 4 children (ages 4 to 9) and were so thrilled with the amount of space and the size of the yard! It was absolute heaven for our grandkids as they had so much room outside to play outdoor games, hide & seek, etc. They really enjoyed watching the deer every evening and after a hard day at play, sleeping VERY well at night. During our stay, we would see deer every evening, sometimes in the morning as well. We had as many as 16 deer (bucks, does and a fawn) in the front yard at one time. During our last evening, apparently the chief buck decided to make an appearance..... the first white-tailed buck I've ever seen that was as large as he was! They were always very entertaining! We highly recommend renting a boat if you don't have one with you. We cruised Flathead Lake from end-to-end, checking Bigfork out during our last full day (cruised up to it instead of driving). We also visited Wild Horse Island and tubed on the lake almost every day! We did our grocery shopping at the Safeway store in Polson, of which there is also a Walgreens in the same parking lot. If you're a Starbucks fan, you'll find a location inside of Safeway. The service is a bit slow, so allow some extra time to get your order filled. Back to the house... as the details indicate, there are two fully stocked kitchens. This was a great option for a group as large as ours. We utilized both refrigerators and did prep work in the downstairs kitchen while others were in the main floor kitchen cooking. We organized both refrigerators.... main floor for everyday food items, lower floor for less often needed items. The bedrooms are all sized perfectly and well furnished. The beds are very comfortable, with everyone getting a good night's rest each night. Everything was just absolutely perfect! As a side note, be sure to check with the property manager to see if anyone will be visiting the property during your stay so you'll know to expect them. Several friends/family members of the owner's family came onto the property and into the large cherry orchard, a visit we weren't aware was going to be made. We were a bit concerned as our grandchildren were outside playing with people around that we had no idea who they were until I greeted them. And since we were responsible for the property during our stay, we were concerned about liability issues. All was smoothed over.

Large and roomy enough for multiple families

This is the 3rd year in a row that we have stayed at this Finley Point house. It's in a perfect location for us to visit family closer to the lake and accommodates our large crowd (2 families of 4 + 2 grandparents). The house is clean and roomy and very comfortable for our needs. We love watching the deer graze on the property and taking walks around the point.

Montana Vaca

We really enjoyed this property the home was great and the wildlife was in abundance . Deer visited every day also had some wild turkeys and a bald eagle. We had many hikes within 30 miles of property. It is not right on the water but there is a campers location near where you can get access to the lake. Walking in was not a problem. Love the Montana people and vacation.

Spacious and comfortable

Loved the wrap around deck with two large tables and lounge chairs, Comfortable beds and well stocked kitchen. Only complaint is that the sofas/chairs in living area are so low they are difficult to get out of. Be prepared for deer! Lots of them!!!
