Really nice--and comfortable house. Kitchen has everything needed for cooking. Nice fireplaces (inside and out) and a cool small hot tub.And great to meet the caretaker--Juan the black lab!

Perfect Location and Accommodations

Really enjoyed our stay! Eric’s place is perfectly located and has a wonderful vibe. Especially enjoyed Juan, one of the goofiest/ friendliest dogs I have ever met. I highly recommend!

very pleasantly surprised as to the quality of the home.. all amenities were top notched.. cottage was very cooly decorated, bed was comfortable. ,, outside living area was quiet and relaxing.. could not have asked for a better accomadation...

Tropical getaway

Such a romantic and cozy place! Juan the lab greeted us and helped us eat bacon. Would highly recommend and would stay again! Lazy Acres has great food to cook in the fully stocked kitchen.

Outstanding place great location for a Encinitas.

Fun, comfortable, inviting, well equipped great location, nicely decorated beach pad. Good Internet & AV. Nice sitting areas in front and back. Stayed for five nights. Had a great time. Highly recommend.

So relaxing.

This was our second time to stay at Eric’s Palm tree oasis. We are so comfortable there, feel so relaxed, and love the vibe. I made sure to use the patios more this time. At night, we lit the awesome fireplace in the living room. He made some nice updates with the surround sound and ambiance.

Paradise

My husband and I vacation on Encinitas often and this was our first stay at Eric’s place. We loved it and plan to return! Well appointed and cozy! We didn’t need to bring anything and the place was very comfortable and clean. Eric was very responsive to any questions we had and told us he has plans this year to add a few more features to the home. This “bungalow” is a perfect space for a couple.Thank you so much!

Mother's Day Weekend Stay

Great time. Great place. Great location. Whether you are out of town checking out San Diego or you live in the city and need a staycation...this is an excellent option. My family of 4 had a great time hanging at the house and it is an excellent base of operation for exploring the beach communities. We will be back.

Wonderful stay!

We loved our stay at Pacific Palm Grove! The cottage and grounds were just beautiful...so well-designed, well-equipped and comfortable. And we so enjoyed walking in the historic neighborhood..such an eclectic array of homes with pretty gardens and foliage. Gorgeous beaches nearby too, and a lovely botanic garden. Great restaurants and cute shops in the area. Our host, Eric, was incredibly helpful and nice. We'd go back in a minute!

Perfect for a Workcation & Surfcation

This property has everything you need to work (incredibly fast WIFI), relax (loved the soaking tub), surf (very close to Swamis), and cook (incredibly well appointed kitchen for a rental - sharp knives and cast iron?!? Amazing). I want to keep this place a secret, but that wouldn’t be fair! We will be coming back!

Perfect relaxation

My boyfriend and I had a wonderful stay at the PBC and can't wait to come back and stay again in the future. We loved all the incredible amenities (tiki tub, fire places, tiki torches, etc.) And the town of Encinitas has everything you need and more. Perfect location to access a walk along the coastal rail trail or wander into the center of town and visit great local restaurants. A short drive from San Diego, but you feel like you are in an island oasis away from it all. This place is a gem!

Outstanding tropical oasis! Loved every minute!

From the moment we stepped onto the property, we knew we had picked an extraordinary haven for our visit. We walked through the door to the sounds of Hawaiian music, we scanned the room to find a unique, spectacularly decorated, inviting backdrop for our time near the beach! Eric, our host, was incredibly friendly and extraordinarily helpful. The stay was restful, the atmosphere was charming, the host exceptional! We'll be back.

Beautiful Relaxing House in Amazing location

Loved everything about our stay. The kitchen is fully equipped/stocked for cooking although we chose to frequent the wonderful restaurants just around the corner. The yard and fireplace (although we didn’t have a fire) were so quaint. Inside common spaces were just as relaxing. Bed was comfy and there was plenty of closet space to unpack (which I love to do when staying for more than a couple days). Not to mention host was incredibly responsive and accommodating! Would definitely stay here again and again.

Perfect weekend getaway

My husband and I were very impressed with the cottage and felt extremely comfortable there, in fact we are already planning our return visit. The space was perfect for the 2 of us, but we may have felt crowded bringing the kids. The kitchen was top notch and Eric had 2 grills plus front yard and backyard seating/visiting areas. The town of Encinitas was so close, and we had a great time exploring the hangouts. Next visit needs to be a little longer!!

Like no other!!

From the minute you step through the gate into your private oasis, you are immediately “home”. Eric has poured so much love and thoughtful design into every square inch of this property. Easy access to the freeway and downtown. We spent ever single morning and afternoon on one of the patios drinking coffee or sipping wine. The neighborhood is so quiet and peaceful you never want to leave. Trust me! And for those concerned about the owner living on property-it’s all what you make of it. They are so helpful and friendly or will complete leave you to your day if that’s what you choose. Not intrusive at all. You will love it here. Trust me!!

I have a 20+ year commercial real estate background with broad geographic coverage with a Global firm before starting my own firm in 2011, Commercial West Realty Advisors. Love traveling and using VRBO/Homeaway properties all over! Spend lots of time in Baja enjoying the rugged country it offers In close proximity to San Diego. Trail running in local mountains occupies much of my time as well. Just love that southern CA lifestyle so much....

Coastal and ocean access for beach and surfing is awesome, trails for running, and close walking proximity to both downtown Encinitas makes the location a big win!! Love the quiet neighborhood full of unique and eclectic homes dates back to the 30's! Large lot sizes allow for more than typical land per house in comparison to any other coastal community!
