The Rock is a distinctive luxury mountain home on 8 acres in the Lodges at Eagles Nest, one of the most desirable communities in the mountains of North Carolina. This gorgeous multi-million-dollar home features 270-degree long-range, layered mountain views, massive natural rock outcroppings, 3 king bedroom suites, a kids' bunk room, and a queen sleeping nook.
The Rock offers relaxed, rustic elegance that your group will surely enjoy with massive exposed timbers and fine wood and stone work throughout - a creative, elegant blend of rustic and luxury décor for a true Mountain Modern style. Enjoy a comfortable living area on the main floor with a stacked stone wood-burning fireplace, long-range views, and a large flat-screen TV. The open floor plan features a gourmet kitchen with Viking appliances. Spacious granite counters offer plenty of room to prepare meals for a full house. The main living area extends comfortably and efficiently outside to large wrap-around decks and a walk-out ground-level patio with an exquisite outdoor dining area, grilling area, and an in-ground hot tub.
Each of the 5 bedrooms is expertly appointed to create a relaxing haven for up to 15 guests. The primary king suite on the main floor features grand mountain views. Upstairs are two additional king suites and an office area with a covered walk-out over the upper-level balcony. Downstairs is a theater and game room for kids of all ages, featuring a big-screen TV with lots of comfortable seating, a wood-burning fireplace, and a pool table. This level also includes a full bath, a room with two Twin-Over-Twin bunk beds, and a cozy sleeping nook with a Queen bed under a custom arching stacked stone feature. A twin sleeper sofa and queen sleeper sofa complete this den.
The Rock is just minutes from the charming mountain village of Banner Elk. Featuring a variety of noted gourmet restaurants and excellent specialty and upscale boutiques, Banner Elk is a destination of its own. In addition, the nearby towns of Blowing Rock, Valle Crucis, Grandfather Mountain, and Boone have many year-round activities that add to the unique flavor and sophisticated country charm of the High Country. In winter, the area features three ski resorts with just a short drive to either Sugar Mountain or Beech Mountain. Appalachian Ski Mountain is about a 45-minute drive from The Rock. This property is pet-friendly!

Eagles Nest Newest Addition: Epic Chophouse! - As a renter in the community, you will have access to this great venue. When at the restaurant, mention you are a renter in Eagles Nest for admittance. Please note, that Owners of the Eagles Nest Community will have priority seating at this restaurant so please be aware of this ahead of your arrival to the venue.

Please note all visitors on the premises at the winery must be 16 years or older. This is strictly enforced.
Important Notes:
- Guests do not have access to the locked-off portion of the Sportsman's Lodge, the Fitness Center, or the Wine & Cigar Bar. That is for member use only.
- This property is pet friendly for a max of 2 dogs; additional pet fees apply.
- Check-in is at 4 PM, and check-out is by 10 AM.
- All stays at Eagles Nest homes have an additional amenity fee in order to maintain the luxurious facilities and features in the development.
- Guests are not allowed to bring their own ATVs. For information about ATV rentals, please visit the Off-Road Adventures website.
- Guest accepts responsibility for caring for outdoor furniture during reservation. Furniture must be covered when not in use.
- Guests can add firewood for Additional Fees on the website or by calling our office.
- Please note that The Rock has wireless internet, but some areas of travel may not have cell reception.
- AWD/4WD vehicles are required for our mountain homes during winter and inclement weather. In heavy snow, chains may also be necessary to access the property.
- Guests are responsible for supplying their own recreational equipment (basketballs, soccer balls, tennis equipment, etc.)
- The summer concerts are open to all guests. However, there is an admission fee for each person and a cash bar for food and drinks.
