About this property
Idyllic Asheville Countryside Home on 70 Acres
Enjoy the natural beauty of the Asheville countryside on our private 70+ acre property in a renovated, light-filled 2 bedroom, 1 bathroom cottage that is fully appointed and can sleep up to 6 people. Explore hiking trails, BBQ a delicious meal, relax Creekside or jump into our swimming hole, while staying connected with high speed fiber internet at the house. Then, take the short 20 min drive to Downtown Asheville to experience its shopping, restaurants, craft breweries and more.
The house has 2 bedrooms (each with a king bed), 1 bathroom with twin sinks, and a den/tv room with a queen sofa bed. There is a fully-appointed kitchen with a dishwasher, coffee maker, blender, toaster and plenty of pots, pans and cooking utensils.
Stay comfortable with the central heating and AC and keep your clothes clean with the washer/dryer. The house also come equipped with two smart televisions - both with built-in Roku.
Guests have exclusive access to our private 70+ acre property. There are no other rentals on it.

The property is located in a beautiful, rural area north of Asheville. The Ivy Creek borders one side of the property and there are 360 degree views of the surrounding countryside from the top of the land. It is incredibly peaceful and feels remote but is only 8 minutes from the town of Mars Hill (with grocery store, coffee shops, restaurants, gas stations, police/fire) and 20 minutes from downtown Asheville.
- 6 guests maximum
- No smoking or vaping in the house. $1,000 fine plus the cost of remediation for failure to follow this rule.
- Absolutely NO HUNTING OR DISCHARGING FIREARMS on the property.
- No motorized recreational vehicles (ATVs, dirt bikes, etc) allowed on the property
- Please respect the property and our community. While hiking, swimming, and enjoying our land, please leave it better than you found it. LEAVE NO TRACE.
