Oyster Cottage - walk to shops , Mainstay music venue and the Bay!

Oyster Cottage is a great destination to enjoy the Chesapeake Bay and Maryland's Eastern Shore! We are just a quick walk from shopping, restaurants, entertainment and the waterfront. Enjoy the town's festivals, music at the Mainstay and delights like coffee at Java Rock, ice cream from Village shops, or fresh produce at the market Adventure awaits at the Eastern Neck Wildlife Refuge just minutes away where butterfly and bird sightings are routine.
Oyster Cottage is spacious and able to accommodate 7 guests. We can also accommodate 1 small to medium size well behaved dog for an additional fee. The Cottage bedrooms upstairs have queen sized beds and one has an additional twin bed. There is a fold out sofa downstairs that can accommodate 2 additional guests. The bathroom is on the ground floor as well as two living room spaces and a well appointed kitchen. The outside bricked patio space is great for grilling and chilling. The kitchen island has bar seating and there is a table that can seat four. Outside, there are benches, a table with umbrella that seats 4 and a tree shaded picnic table that is great for cracking crabs. The side garden has a table for 2 that is super for enjoying a morning cup of coffee. Off the kitchen there is a utility room with a washer and dryer and an extra refrigerator for the watermelon and summer libations. Come enjoy some of the Eastern Shore traditions at Oyster Cottage!

Lovely cottage!

Right in town, convenient to everything

As listed, very convenient to walk around the town of Rock Hall, close to several great restaurants within a bike ride or a short drive. Loved Fresh Produce right in town, and quant shops. small yard for the pup.

Oyster Cottage

Oyster Cottage is a charming, comfortable place to stay within walking distance to many shops and cafes in town. The cottage is very nicely furnished and was a great place for my family to spend a weekend getaway together. There is ample parking behind the house, and check-in and check-out was an easy process.

Perfect Getaway

We really enjoyed our stay at Oyster Cottage. The cottage is more spacious than it looks and well laid out. We took advantage of the multiple comfortable seating areas on the first floor. The updated kitchen was the best stocked kitchen of any place we have ever stayed. We also enjoyed having our morning coffee sitting outside on the private patio. The location was perfect for exploring Rock Hall and Eastern Neck Wildlife Refuge. We were also very happy to be able to bring along our dog, who also enjoyed our stay.

Fantastic cottage !

No two renovations of these small cottages is the same. This one is a winner ! Owner gives fantastic tips and advice for the area as well as the property. You will love it. Very much hope to return soon.

Oyster Cottage

We enjoyed our stay at Oyster Cottage! This historic dwelling, in a very walkable area of Rock Hall, is thoughtfully decorated with many artistic touches throughout the property. The upstairs beds and numerous downstairs seating arrangements are all very comfortable. The updated kitchen and ground-floor bathroom are well designed. We enjoyed sitting in a shaded area on the patio during the late afternoon. We had a relaxing visit and Diane is a very responsive property manager. Thanks for sharing your cottage!

Fantastic house, lovely small town!

My friend and I wanted to meet up part way between our two cities, and when we decided on the Chesapeake Bay, Rock Hall seemed a good option, and we were right! What a great little town, and the house was just perfect for us. She brought her two little ones (6 and 2), and I was on my own. I think with just 1 bathroom, many more than that would really not be ideal. The whole stay was great, we both agreed we'd love to come back again. The only hiccup (and I am sure it will be fixed), was that the oven didn't work properly (couldn't heat up past being basically a warming tray).
