For the most part we enjoyed our stay. We had a couple of issues that got resolved and different points of our stay! The thermostat is access code locked so when we arrived it was set to heat 82! We reached out and the property management company I am assuming had to get the code so we can adjust the air. Later at 2am it was back to 82degrees! It seemed there was a set schedule we had to go and adjust for each day. So once we figured that out the temperature was comfortable the rest of our stay! There was only 3 hangers and no bedroom furniture to put your clothes in. The bed which has a footboard that sticks out from the bed is like a shelf that you can barely walk from one side of the bed to the door without banging your legs or stubbing your toe. It is not the same as in the photo! The hot tub the first night the jets were not working they sent someone out late the following day and said it was working. We went to get in it and noticed a couple of jets barely working and the whole hot tub was filled with white stuff which we found out the next day when they sent another person out said it was a bunch of calcium build-up that was not cleaned out and when they blew it out they just left it in the water which can cause bacteria to grow and cause skin irritants. So the day before we left they drained out all the water and cleaned it out so we got to use it our last night. The place was clean and everything you need in the kitchen! Enjoyed playing old school video games!

Perfect for a private getaway.

Nearly everything about this cabin is perfect. It is secluded which is exactly what we wanted. You can see cars going by on the road below but not by much, you are completely surrounded by trees. We had a couple issues with the thermostat, it was 82 in the cabin when we got there but we got it figured out. The departure instructions I was sent were different from what was listed in the cabin, but I think we managed. The binder in the cabin has some outdated info but again we had done some homework. The space itself has everything you could possibly want. The kitchen is wonderful. There is plenty to do there if you never leave the cabin. Overall, we 100% loved this place and are already planning our next trip to bear tracks lodge.
