Summary:
This is a two-bedroom executive suite with 10 feet ceilings that was formerly a 3 car garage. It is absolutely gorgeous inside.
Features a new custom kitchen, gorgeous view windows that look over the park-like setting.
Bathroom has a deep bathtub and a new full-size stackable washer and dryer.
2 fireplaces. One in the livingroom and primary bedroom.
Dining table with four bar chairs.
Br 2 has a Murphy bed.
Locked Bar cabinet .
Easy self check-in.
Pets welcome with a private fenced yard.

The Space:
This unit is located in the Vista Foothill on a private gated 2 acre estate. You will have use of the grounds which include a 650 square-foot outdoor cabana with an outdoor living room and fireplace as well as barbecue and smoker with a wraparound cement bar. You will also have access to the recently renovated pool and spa that has a waterslide, Grotto and waterfall. The pool also has lights in the evening. This is a newer and spacious three car garage conversion has 10 ft ceilings and is stunning Inside. There is a detached one bedroom guest house on the premises as well that is also rented for Airbnb should you desire to book both units let me know.
I live in the main house with one roommate. We do not allow parties on the premises.
The grounds are like an oasis very private and quiet. The unit has its own backyard area that is fully fenced should you desire to bring your pets. There is a soundproof wall from the main house to the executive suite and it’s very cozy and comfortable with all high-end fixtures including three ceiling fans, two fireplaces and a custom built kitchen with quartz counters and stainless steel appliances. The kitchen is fully stocked and quite spacious. You are literally less than 10 minutes to the I 15 or the I 5 freeway as well as 10 minutes to downtown Vista on Main Street where you’ll find wonderful restaurants and breweries.

Guest Access:
The entire grounds are available. Pool use is weather permitting.

The Neighborhood:
Vista is a jewel of North San Diego County, we have the most breweries per capita in our town, you don't have to go far for a good brew! Dining is also close as well as gems like Balboa Park, Downtown San Diego, Padres' Petco Park, San Digo Zoo and Safari Park are within a 30-60 minute drive from this location. The property is located in the foothills Vista it’s a private gated estate on 2 acres. It’s a great place to go for walks or even ride a bike although you feel like you’re in the country you’re just a short 10 minutes to downtown Main Street in Vista and less than 10 minutes to both the I-15 and I-5 freeway you’re also close to the transit center. Amazon, Instacart, GrubHub, UberEats, and more deliver groceries and food to the property.

Getting Around:
There is the Sprinter line nearby, taking you east and west from Downtown Oceanside and Escondido. From the Oceanside stop you can catch the Coaster or Amtrak either Northbound or Southbound. There is a designated parking space for my guests. You may have up to one car. The transit center is 4 Miles away on Buena Creek and Uber and Lyft do pick up at the property.

Other Things to Note:
The guest house has a fire stick and an HDMI cable to connect your computer to the TV. We have high speed internet.

There is a travel Blow dryer if you don’t want to pack one and there is always complimentary coffee ready for you!!
The kitchen is perfect for cooking your favorite meal or if you prefer a blended protein drink there is great blender for that!!
You can park your car in the garage if you like the remote that is left in the guest house will let you in and out of garage and the private gate.

There is another two bedroom detached guest house on the property so you may run into a guest from time to time. I also have pool maintenance and landscaping done on Wednesdays and or Thursday. I live on site and work from home so I am easy to get ahold of.
Do not flush baby wipes or tampons in the toilet the system it is in a sump pump and it will break and is quite expensive to replace. Thank you for your understanding.

Cons: No check-in information was sent nor in the listing info. Host did not respond to my messages in the app and I had to call VRBO support, who connected me directly with the owner to provide me basic check in info. Not in app as host insisted. Listing said 2pm checkin, but host said it was 3pm (probably confusing it with her other listing). I arrived at 3:30 and had to wait until 4 for cleaners to leave, 2hrs late. Hard to find the house and unit upon arrival. No mention of going through backyard to enter. Door code provided did not work and I had to call the owner directly to reset it. Someone came to our door and asked where his rental unit was. TURNS OUT the host had DOUBLE BOOKED our unit! Family with kids had to find accommodations elsewhere. (I found reviews of this occurring before on the other services app too) Using the hot tub was challenging as it wasn’t heated until I asked and successive use of it resulted in micromanaging/irritated texts from the host about turning the heat off and on. As guests, we expected an amenity like a hottub should be ready for use by arrival, like a hotel would. No shower soaps and no laundry detergent. Outdoor seating areas were dirty and covered in cobwebs and dust. Host was slow to respond and seemed irritated each time. Pros: The unit was clean. The BBQ was in good condition and usable. The pool/hot tub were enjoyable. beautiful backyard.

I traveled with my family to visit Legoland for my son's birthday. Overall, the unit is quiet, private and a good size for a small family or group. Some pros and cons based on our experience: Pros: - Good location. A little farther out from town, but is in a quiet and private area and there were plenty of restaurants and coffee nearby. - Nicely decorated and cozy. It's clear a lot of thought went into furnishing and decorating the space. It has a lot of nice touches, including electric fireplaces. - Quiet. Though the unit shares a wall with the main house, we only heard noises once or twice. Cons: - A really bad check-in experience. A couple reasons: The directions on the listing are perfect to get to the main address, but the details were for the separate guest house. We only found the correct unit when someone came out and told us. Then, we were let into the unit by the housekeepers, but got locked out of the unit because we were given the wrong door entry code. We went to dinner and contacted the host and got a message telling us the unit was double-booked. (It seemed like had we not already been checked in with stuff inside we would have been expected to go elsewhere). When we returned, the gate code didn't work. When we got in, the host came out and tried multiple codes on the unit until we finally got back in. Extremely frustrating on a long travel day. -Several renters coming + going on the property. Just something to be aware of if you were expecting to be solo.

Why they chose this property

I grew upon on a farm in northern California and I chose Vista because you get a country feel yet city close because I'm a little bit country and a little bit Rock n Roll! I love listening to the birds in the morning and occasional roosters. Vista is known as the climatic wonderland of the USA with an average year round temperature of 73 degrees. The rolling hills and cool coastal breezes make Vista one of the best places to vacation. You are just 8 miles to the Oceanside Pier and white sandy beaches and about an hour from Disneyland, 20 minutes to Legoland and less than on hour to the snow in the winter. My home is located less than 10 miles to the I-15 and 78 freeways and 15 minutes to quaint downtown Vista where you'll find an array of breweries and restaurants. If you want to visit the beautiful city of San Diego dont miss visiting these treasures like Old Town, Seaport Village, La Jolla, Belmont Park, the Zoo, Balboa Park, Wild Animal Park, Sea World, Legoland, The Wave Water Park, or Drive across Coronado Bridge to Visit Hotel Del Coronado, The Del Mar Fair in June, Torrey Pines, Wineries, Beaches and so much more. San Diego is amazingly beautiful with so much to do and see. When I drive home each day I feel like I am entering paradise through the gates of my 2 acres Estate home and still pinch myself that I get to live on such a beautiful property and city.

I am located close to the city yet feel like you in the country. Its located on a private road on a 2 Acre gated estate with gorgeous landscaping, an amazing pool, spa, waterfall, grotto and bar overlooking the pol. I have a 650 sq ft outdoor covered cabana with wrap around bar, BBQ, Smoker, Fireplace, living room and outdoor TV's. You have various spots through the 2 acres to relax and soak in the beautiful weather year round. I do not allow parties so when you visit you can expect a quiet and peaceful experience. The pool is located on the lower lot and private from the main house, the guest house and 2 br suite all located on the grounds. This allows guest to enjoy some fun in the sun with privacy. Each unit has been beautifully designed and has everything you could imagine and so much more to make your stay comfortable including a beautiful kitchen with custom cabinets, quartz counters and stainless steel appliances. There is also a private attached patio area to enjoy with its own outdoor seating and BBQ.
