Host was unprepared
The house is cute and loved the spacious kitchen and the patio. However we encountered a few issues during our stay. It was chilly during our stay. When we arrived in the evening we were fairly comfortable so did not mess with the thermostat. We woke up the next morning to the house being 50 degrees. We had no hot water nor gas. Come to find out the propane was empty. While management was fairly responsive it still took several hours to have this taken care of. Why this was not looked at before our arrival is beyond me (not sure if this is an owner or PM issue). We received zero concessions for not having heat, not being able to shower and not being able to cook until almost lunch time. The house has foundation issues. We live in TX so we get it, but seems when it gets too far you would have it repaired. When we arrived, we had to call PM as we couldn't get in the front door. It was cold and dark (no lights were left on) while logging onto email and finding the emergency number. The PM told us they knew there were issues with the door so to pull up on the handle/door after entering the code. Why was this not in the instructions? Along with this, the master bathroom door does not close because of the foundation issues. Both mattresses are the hardest I've ever slept on in my life. They were extremely uncomfortable unless extra firm is your preference. We never received any kind of check out instructions so we had to call PM (no welcome book or email).
