One bedroom apartment - inaccurate listing
Pros:
Easy check in process
Smart tv
AC worked well
Smelled clean
Cons:
Having to be bent over the entire time you’re in the upstairs area.
No kitchen, dining or coffee table
Messy cabinets with very little flatware, cups and utensils
Framed obituaries as decor
Old used, mismatched towels
Is connected to a business and shares parking area with it.
Decor with tags still on them.
Would not truly sleep 12 people.
Old mismatched dishes.
Loud road noise.
If we had more time to do so, we would have looked into getting a different rental for the week we were in the area. There was really no resolving the issue that the rental was depicted as somewhere that could house 12 people and yet 4 adults struggled to fit comfortably into the space. This is largely due to the converted attic having a very low ceiling, which meant two of us were bent over the majority of the time we were in the king bedroom and upstairs bath area.
Much of whatever remodeling has been done was incomplete. There’s a hole for the dishwasher but no dishwasher. And there was very little flatware, coffee cups or decent cookware. There are some shaky dinner trays that can be used but not any real surface for having a meal.
Between the size of the apartment, the discomfort of being hunched over in the attic, the different bedding, old towels and layout of furniture being different, this apartment is just not listed accurately and was disappointing.
