Couples Retreat

  • 5 of 5

This home was exactly as described and exactly what we needed. We were 2 couples that just needed a fun getaway...and that's exactly what we got. Both bedrooms had king size beds that were super comfortable. One bedroom is downstairs on the entry level with an en suite; the other bedroom was upstairs with the bathroom just outside the bedroom door and shared with the main living area. The kitchen had plenty of pots, pans, dishes, etc. We used the BBQ and made a nice dinner and were able to relax and enjoy the company of each other after a fun day of wine tasting in the area. The views are absolutely gorgeous and just a block-in-a-half away from ocean. You are minutes away from Hearst Castle and the elephant seals as well as lots and lots and lots of wineries. Fun, Fun, Fun!!!!

Lovely location

  • 5 of 5

Stayed here in March 2011. The property is just a delight - it has a good layout, and everything seems new and fresh. The photo helped us find it, it was really clean and well-maintained, and convenient to everything in mid-coast California. We loved it being near the Fiscalini Ranch Preserve. We also loved eating at Creekside for breakfast (twice - yum!) and at Linn's - we had several meals there (breakfast, lunch and dinner and a takeout supper - absolutely wonderful!!) Enjoyed the Ball & Skein (a yarn shop), the Moonstone Gallery, Cambria Beads and the Yew Tree. There is a Farmer's Market that is fun on Friday afternoons. Took long drives up the coastal highway (US 1) - amazing scenery and critters (seals, otters, squirrels) and the short trip to San Luis Obispo, too. Highly recommend. Realty company really helpful when we arrived late, late at night and had trouble with the checkin - quick response to our call and person was upbeat, kind and helpful. All-in-all, a delightful place!
