About this property
Huge Deck, Hot Tub, Games, Pool Table, Forested View on 2.3 Acres
You can hear the sound of Hebron Falls from the deck, or from the primary suite with the french doors open. We love this aspect of the property so much we named it "Hebron Calling." When you are ready to venture out, it is a 5 minute walk to the trailhead to hike to the falls. The falls themselves are a jewel of the high country - if you love clean mountain water, cascading streams, and huge boulders you can criss-cross as you make your way up, you will adore this area.
You might not be too eager to leave the cabin though! There is so much to enjoy right here: an open layout main floor, pool table, air hockey, outdoor hot tub AND indoor jacuzzi tub, gas and wood fireplaces, a den with the world's comfiest couch, and more.
The cabin sits on 2.2 acres. There is one home visible to the east, the rest is extremely private. At night, the quiet is something you might have to get used to - and then won't want to give up.
Despite the privacy of the home and property, it is right in the middle of everything the Boone / Blowing Rock area has to offer. So much is 15 minutes or less from here:
5.3 miles (14 min drive) to downtown Blowing Rock 7.8 miles (15 min drive) to downtown Boone 6.2 miles (12 min drive) to a well-stocked grocery store (Ingles on Route 105) 4.4 miles (13 min drive) to Moses H. Cone Park 5.8 miles (15 min drive) to Price Picnic Area and Price lake 2.0 miles (8 min drive) to The Gamekeeper - fine dining in the mountains 1.4 miles (6 min drive) to The Inn at Crestwood - more fine dining
This home has everything you need: 4,000 sqft of living space 2,200 sqft of porch and deck space. Note that the property has "seasonal" views: when the leaves come in, the setting is forested.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay!! Beautiful home with tons of fun stuff for the teens and adults alike. Well stocked kitchen, comfy beds and furniture. The hike to the waterfall was an adventure we won't forget! We would definitely stay here again one day.
Property is just as listed. Quiet and peaceful. We saw deer everyday and enjoyed just having coffee outside. Owner communicated and had everything you need there. We love all the games and the fire pit. Would stay again for sure! The diner theme was awesome!
This was a PERFECT weekend for our group of moms with teens....plenty of room to spread out and roam with a kitchen full of appliances and pots/pans to actually be able to cook meals. There were thoughtful amenities everywhere we needed them. Do not hesitate to book this one. We will be back!
My husband and I were looking for a fall weekend getaway spot to spend with our family and we couldn’t have been happier with our pick of Hebron Calling! We were thrilled with how well appointed the house was with a stocked kitchen, books, games, and plenty of cozy spots to relax. The home was exactly what was advertised and we were pleased with how responsive the owner was with any questions we had prior to and during our stay. The location of the home was perfect for visiting Boone and Blowing Rock or you could just stay put to enjoy the hot tub, fire pit or take a hike down to Hebron Falls. Definitely a great spot for someone seeking a mountain getaway experience!
Andre’s cabin was the perfect place for our two families of 9 people total. I mulled over which cabin to pick for a month and so happy we chose his for our family vacation. We had a range of ages between 5 and 13 and there was something for everyone. The kids loved playing pretend and serving each other in the diner and the garage kept them busy racing cars, playing ping pong and basketball. The adults loved the impeccably clean hot tub and newly installed gorgeous fire pit. There was plenty of space for everyone to spread out and the entire cabin was meticulously clean. We hiked around the falls but be careful, we found it easy to get off track. We figured it out and there were fun swimming holes along the way. It was a beautiful hike. Thanks so much Andre, we all really enjoyed our stay.
Andre was the perfect host, full of helpful advice and responsive to questions. The house, Hebron Calling, was perfect. It is huge and loaded with luxuries and entertainment to make it a great place for a family outing. The "diner room" is the coolest room I have ever seen in a house anywhere, a retro replica of a 1950's diner, with working video games and a functioning jukebox. It was rainy most of the time we were there, so we played lots of games and did puzzles. No one was ever without entertainment. There is a full sized pool table and a safe dartboard in the main area. The kitchen is fully stocked with great labeling so that you can find whatever you need. The master suite is huge with a beautiful view overlooking the mountain ravine below. There is a huge jacuzzi tub and a giant shower area. We will consider Hebron Calling a home away from home in the future. Thank you Andre!

Why they chose this property
This is the house to come to if you want a bunch of fun things AND a lots of relaxing spaces. So many games to keep everyone entertained: pool, ping-pong, arcade games, air hockey, darts, pop-a-shot! And there are many nooks and spaces inside and out where everyone can hang out together or individually (outdoor living room, upstairs reading beanbags, fire pit, hammocks, hanging chairs).
If you're looking for a base for daytime excursions, this home is fine -- it's situated nicely between Boone and Blowing Rock.
But that's not what makes the home special. What makes it shine is all the little activities and spaces, bringing your group together and giving everyone something to do.
