About this property

Cozy couples retreat, dog friendly, 1 block to ocean or sound

Quiet street 1 mile from north end of North Topsail, across from the St. Regis. 1 block or less to public beach access and public pier/dock. Queen bed, spectrum internet and 15-channel cable package with added sports channels including Big Ten Network, wall-mounted TV that can rotate to watch from bed or sofa. New AC, LVP flooring and sofa in 2025. Full-size washer and dryer added downstairs in 2026. Kitchen has the essentials including coffee maker, toaster and stock pot for your shrimp boil. Outdoor space equal to three rooms -- front and back deck, choose sunshine or shade. Under the house is completely screened in with TV, ceiling fan, couch for a nap, minifridge, and shower with hot and cold water.

In short, the place is small but has everything you need for a cozy couples getaway. The large, comfy sofa provides room for 1 more person, so bring a child or a friend if you want!

Dog friendly, with 4x8 kennel in the screened in breezeway and 2 crates available for inside. (Pet fee $25/night. Please check box under number of guests when booking.)

The open-air Tiki Bar is a short walk and features local characters who will welcome and entertain you! Sometimes live music or karaoke.

The host requires you complete the following before checking out:
Strip any used beds and gather used towels
Remove personal items and take out the trash
Turn off the lights, lock the doors, and return the keys
Wash towels as time permits. Any towels that are not clean, leave in hamper behind chair. Do not wash any bedding unless feeling very gung-ho. If you do, get it to the dryer so it doesn't sit damp. TY
Return keys to their places. It's okay to just lock front knob and pull door closed.
On Tuesday night/early Wednesday morning, put outside trash and recycling bins at end of driveway. On Friday night/early Saturday, there's a trash-only pickup. Put out as needed.
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.
Any size dog(s) are okay, provided they're well behaved. For larger dogs, you might need to bring your own crate.
Keep pets off bed. Keep pets off sofa and chair. If not possible, put spreads/blankets on sofa.

We came here for our honeymoon with our dog, Cooper, and absolutely loved our stay. There were so many little things provided at the house that made our stay so easy and enjoyable especially the little cart to take to the beach. We also cooked in the kitchen and used the charcoal grill a couple times which was nice. The charcoal grill is small but worked well. The kitchen had the essentials and we left behind a few more cooking utensils. We definitely recommend reading through the binder and talking to neighbors when they are out for tips and recommendations. The place was so clean and cozy. We really enjoyed getting to hangout in the downstairs patio area too. We had a beautiful week.

Everything about the stay was really good! Luke was very communicative and helped to ensure ease of check in and check out process. All basic amenities provided, in addition, plenty of kennels/crates for my dog, nice outdoor shower to wash off sand, tv, internet, W&D, even used a provided beach bag to collect sea glass and shells. Small cottage perfect for 2 adults (plus our dog). We would have used the underside of the cottage to hang out, but it was just too humid. Enjoyed the beach though! Would stay again!

This is a great place to stay for a couple or solo traveler with their dog. We stayed here and loved it. Features we liked:- one bedroom and living roomcombined, with small kitchen and bath but It was plenty of room for my girlfriend and I. - We loved that we were able to bring our dog. - Beach is across the street, five minute walk. - patio below the house is very neat, includes couch, tv, beer fridge, outdoor shower, and washer/dryer. Definitely recommend and would stay here again!

I cannot speak highly enough about this rental. The host provided detailed instructions for easy check in and the rental itself was perfect. It had everything that we needed and more. It was very clear the host cares greatly about the comfort of the guests. The area was quiet and the beach was a short walk away. I can’t wait to plan my next visit!
