Nature lovers will delight in the bird watching and frequent sightings of deer wandering through the property, adding to the peaceful, natural surroundings. The property is pet-friendly, so feel free to play fetch with your dog!

Conveniently located, just a few minutes into Friday Harbor. Kitchen had all the necessary appliances, probably the best of the many houses I’ve rented. The house was “as advertized”. The only negatives were (1) there was no extra toilet paper that we could find; and (2) the very steep stair to the lower level were too much for my partner and me, who are both handicapped. We had to stay on the upper level for the week. I would not recommend this house for elderly or handicapped people, but for everyone else it’s great.

Beautiful location and the house has been updated quite nicely!Enjoyed our stay but Just a few small things to note.The couch’s are dreadfully uncomfortable and one is horribly stained. The one upstairs is a pullout bed-we did not need that sleeping area-but if you did-it’s in a room with No curtains and full early morning sun.Rugs are scattered all over but edges curled up and unsecured on slick floors so very dangerous-especially if you have an older/person with physical limitations traveling with you- Trip hazards Kitchen is very well equipped and the coffee, spices etc are a lovely touch!! Bbq grill is a wonderful option too! The mattresses/linens are awesome in all the bedrooms!! Trust when they tell you the cell reception is very bad in the area and have all your codes and directions saved prior to your arrival.The instructions for the bedroom TVs did not work for us -so if you need sound to sleep-it will take some effort and have your passwords for your Netflix etc. Very nice that they allow small pets-my MIL’s little dog really enjoyed watching the deer that wonder all over the property! We even picked wild blackberries right on the grounds. Overall it was a lovely stay and the hostess was very responsive. One bedroom was locked when we arrived which caused a little concern we didn’t have enough room! lol I would highly recommend the home. Great spot to gather with friends and family for a retreat or getaway. Thank you!!

Just to clarify, the futon and pullout beds are downstairs in the bonus room for additional sleeping if needed… this is not a bedroom, it’s a meditation, yoga, fun room. Great location, beautiful property.

We came for the 4th of July. Enjoyed the property’s location - close to Friday Harbor but away from the crowds. Easy drive to Roche. Very safe. Accommodated 4 adults and 4 kids easily. Would certainly stay again!

This is a great property for a large family. There is plenty of room for everyone to spread out. We enjoyed making breakfast in the full kitchen.

Wonderful secluded spot with lots of area for the kids to play outside. Inside is very nicely set up with all of the essentials provided. Hot tub was nice and the blackberry bushes were full and ripe! Hot water heater had plenty of capacity for showers running in both bathrooms for at least an hour which was a very pleasant surprise. Perfect spot for families with kids or larger groups.

Great place!

Absolutely one of the best places we have stayed at. Spotless, everything you needed was there, the kitchenware and pots/pans were like new. Beds were very comfortable, and the location is convenient to town and very quiet. We had two deer visit us There were four of us and we thoroughly enjoyed our time
