Bungalow By the Bay Saltwater Retreat For 6 guests

Our property is located on Marine Drive - a peninsula with waterfront homes on both sides of the road. It is a very peaceful, beautiful, friendly neighborhood. Restaurants and a grocery store are minutes away. And you will have the entire property to yourselves!

The Bungalow is a two-story home with accommodations for up to 6 guests. The lower bedroom has a queen bed with bedside tables, reading lamps and a combination alarm clock/charging station - don't forget to bring your charging cords! There are extra blankets and pillows. There is a large closet containing a wardrobe, luggage rack, ironing board and iron. A small desk is for any work you need to do, and the Wi-Fi is free - 100mbps download and 6mbps upload.

The upper bedroom is accessible by an exterior stairway and has two queen beds with bedside tables, reading lamps and combination alarm clock/charging stations. As with the lower floor, the extra blankets and pillow choices are here too. There is a closet for organizing your stay and a bathroom with a shower and all the necessary amenities. At the foot of the bed is bench with extra bedding inside. Opposite the beds is a coffee/tea station and a cozy reading chair.

The kitchen is fully stocked with dishes, silverware and cookware, including coffeemaker, blender and toaster.

The Rest of the Property

There are two outdoor dining areas. Just across from the Bungalow under the trees you'll find a propane barbecue and buffet table. There is seating for 6 at a table and a propane fire pit for relaxing and conversation. The entire area is lighted so you can continue after dark. The other dining area is on the large deck overlooking Ostrich Bay. Here you will find a bar height gas fire pit table with seating for six.

Just past the barbeque area is a winding path through cottage gardens to the waters of Ostrich Bay. On the way, you will pass the Glass House where you can enjoy your morning coffee or evening glass of wine. The Glass House is heated and lighted for the cooler parts of the day and after dark.

The path continues down the rustic stairs to the beach where you can catch views of wildlife and even a few rays of the sun. Other activities include beachcombing, kayaking, paddle boarding or whatever your heart desires.

For children, there is the Children's Garden and Playhouse located between the Bungalow and the gardens.
