This was a perfect place for our family of four. Very close to the beach and walkable to shops, restaurants, coffee, etc. We didn't spend much time in the house, as we were constantly out enjoying Mission and Pacific Beach!

We really enjoyed our stay! The cottage is lovely and very well appointed for its size. The location is fantastic with very easy access to the beach or Mission blvd shops and restaurants. The carport is really handy also. No complaints at all.

Great Stay

I loved staying at the cozy mission beach cottage! It was so nice being so close to the beach! It was very comfy and I felt very safe! Great walkability to beach and restaurants and our host was very kind and quick to respond! Definitely would recommend!

Family stay

The accommodation was clean and plenty of space for a family of 4 with two teenage boys. The property was clean and the beds were comfortable. In terms of improvement: The property would benefit from more towel's. We had 4 big towels but reality is you could do with double that The property could do with a more homely feel. It’s clean and well done but needs a little more of a personal touch. It felt a little bare. All being said it was a good base for San Diego and steps away from the beach.

Long weekend getaway

Location is excellent. Lots of cafés, restaurants, and of course, the beach. The parking spot is great, though a little tricky to maneuver in and out of, given the super narrow alleys. Just be careful.The place itself is quite smaller than it looks in the photos, though it mostly served is purpose for us (2 adults, 2 kids). Don't plan to do much cooking; the kitchen has got the bare necessities. Nothing more. You have to do the dishes after every meal, else you won't have any dishes for the next meal. We had to use a pot for a salad bowl, because there were no large bowls. All that cupboard space and totally empty!Also, if you are sensitive to strong smells, beware. We had to unplug all the plug-ins and open up all the windows to dissipate some of the scent, and even 10 days after coming home, we still can smell the plug-ins and detergent used in the unit on our clothing. Yuck!All that said, we really enjoyed our time in Mission Beach and would recommend this place if you don't plan to cook and you don't care how it smells!

We enjoyed our stay at this mission beach cottage. It was clean, had a comfortable bed & nice shower. We greatly appreciated the parking spot & air conditioning. It was located conveniently to the beach, the bay, and lots of restaurants.

It is clean and updated. The AC is great and I love how each room has its own unit and its not the window unit, its good. Bathroom and kitchen clean and updated. The location was good and parking spot was helpful.
