You'll be just two blocks away from charming downtown Newberg with its many restaurants, cafes, bars and shops. You will also be less than a mile from George Fox University and minutes away from hundreds of beautiful wineries. At the end of your day, enjoy wine on the patio with a fire pit and cafe lights. We have done our best to fill the house with everything you'll need to have a relaxing stay. Each room (two bedrooms and the living room) has a separate AC unit that is remote controlled. Each bedroom has a high-end queen mattress, comforter and black out curtains. The fully fenced in backyard and entire house is all yours during your stay.

The cottage was perfect four our first time in Oregon and our first time in Willamette Valley. The cottage is walking distance to the Newberg downtown restaurants and easy access to hundreds of nearby wineries!Our host was very responsive, and the check-in/checkout process was easy.

Perfect location and charming house

The location was perfect, with easy access to local restaurants and wineries. The house itself was cute and welcoming. One of the highlights was the backyard, which featured a lovely fireplace – perfect for relaxing evenings. Inside, the house was very comfortable and had everything we needed for a pleasant stay. Overall, this house provided a cozy and convenient base for our trip. I recommend it to anyone looking for a delightful and well-situated place to stay! Great for a family.

Wine tasting

Wanted a spot close to Willamette wine area. This is a great location! The house is so well cared for! We enjoyed a night at the fire pit in the lovely backyard. The fenced yard was a plus and much enjoyed by our dachshund. Kitchen had everything we needed. Including great coffee! Owners have obviously put a lot of effort in creating a great experience for their guests!

Girls weekend

We had a great time at this place! This was our first girls trip with my baby daughter being added to my mom and I’s trips. The area is great and we enjoyed some relaxing time sipping wine! My only complaint is one of the beds was very squeaky and I only noticed it because of trying to get a new baby to sleep. Thank you!

Family visit

I like this place, the bottle of wine was really nice. If I were to say anything negative is the beds the noise they make when getting into or out of the bed and just rolling over is bad, I’m not sure if it’s the box spring or the mattress but it’s quite annoying.

Loved the place - couple of suggestions: laundry area at back door could use a rug of some type- it was rainy and seemed like we were bringing in a lot of dirt - hard to keep floor clean! Also need instructions for tv- we are not all techies nor do we subscribe to a streaming service! Garbage disposal would be good.

We were born and raised in the PNW and can't get enough of it. Newberg is the perfect distance from the city with so many beautiful views of Oregon wine country. We thought this house would make the perfect weekend getaway for those looking to enjoy the outdoors or visiting loved ones at George Fox.

You will be just two blocks away from downtown Newberg where you can find many shops, restaurants, bars, and cafes. The cultural center is also a half block away where they have a fountain and playground for kids to enjoy in the spring and summer months. George Fox University is just a 10 minute walk away, or a 2 minute drive. You will be in the heart of Newberg!
