We have high speed internet and more ! WI-FI connection. Smooth Ceilings, Crown Moldings, Custom Eggshell Paint with attractive neutral hues in Taupe. New matching window treatment patterns that accent the rooms. A "Tommy Bahama" Mangrove comforter adds casual comfort to the bedroom with a "Queen Sized bed." Located in the heart of Isle of Palms, this cute condo is perfectly positioned to enjoy daily and faces east toward the sunrise and the ocean. You're just steps from the beach and a short walk to the island’s best restaurants, shops, and park. This condominium complex claims the only pier on the Front Beach strand at Isle of Palms, and is gated and private for your fishing or relaxation enjoyment. *This unit has a full appliance package,20' range/oven, dishwasher, refrigerator, granite counter tops, under mount sink and pull out faucet. The attractive condo, decorated with a beach cabin palm tree flair is true to its name 'SUMMER SONG' as the wind seems to sing songs on the waves all through the hours, and is situated on the second floor of the center-right 'C' building, at the end near the beach, where your bedroom shares no neighboring wall or noise except the stairwell but this is generally quiet in the evening hours. The balcony is approx 5' x 13' facing the oceanfront,pool, and pier. It affords an unobstructed panoramic view of the ocean,as we are in the right bldg facing the pool,pier, and ocean. This view is also shared or available from living room and kitchen. The sunset is very nice over the entrance / back door area which also has a direct beach front view out beyond the building of most other condominiums and homes in the area and toward Sullivan's Island and Breach Inlet. We try to keep a few beach chairs & mats as we can and some beach toys for guests to use. I also have info for service that will set you up with wood and canvas loungers and umbrellas each morning.

PRIVACY! This condo also offers individual privacy. The hallway with built-in bunk beds (kids love them) closes off to become a private room for smaller guests with a night light and air/white noise machine available. The adults can then go back and forth from balcony/LR/kitchen or to BR thru the bathroom door without waking the kids. The sleeper sofa adds extra sleeping as needed. It is really cute if you use this feature! Kind of a Christmas at the beach feature.

We are just one block from the beachfront Banana Cabana, the One Eyed Parrot, Huck's, Long Island Cafe, Coconut Joe's, and many great restaurants. The world famous Windjammer beach bar offers up nightly entertainment (Great Bands) , and Buddy Roe's Shrimp Shack in Mt. Pleasant has the best Low Country Shagging (and fried shrimp baskets!)outside of OD. While enjoying the Island Life, you can go swimming, body surfing, play volleyball, dine at oceanfront restaurants, bike the beaches, jog, cruise the coastal waterway, sail, surf, windsurf, take in some live music, shop the boutiques. Check out the scuba diving or go deep sea fishing. Relax at a spa or try horseback riding. Kayak, water-ski, fish, go 'Crabin or Shrimpin,' walk the beach for shells, take a sunset cruise, charter a small boat, explore uninhabited islands, play some of the South’s finest golf courses or take a look at the USS Yorktown at Patriots Point!

From the ocean front, you are only ten miles from the Historic District of Downtown Charleston, where you can shop at the Old Market, Charleston Place or fabulous King Street which even has an Apple Store! Take in the charm of this beautiful and historic City and learn more about Charleston on a horse-drawn carriage ride, or tour Charleston Harbor,The Battery and Fort Sumter by boat. 1 mile away from the condo is Mount Pleasant Town Centre a middle upscale shopping experience in classic southern style. With over 65 national and local shops, including Banana Republic, Gap, Bath & Body Works, Cache', Men's Wear house and Old Navy, as well as the regions only J.Jill, Coldwater Creek and Francesca's. Sample exquisite home-made candy at Sweet Julep's Candy & Gifts, or dine out in style at Guy Harvey, Longhorn Steakhouse, Outback Steakhouse, Chili's, TGI Friday's, Atlanta Bread Company, - there is sure to be a culinary diversion to suit your palette. After dinner, stroll the lush, tree-lined streets or relax at the luxurious Palmetto Grande ,Shem Creeks famous shrimp boats and restaurants are 10 minutes away, and the Yorktown WWII Aircraft Carrier and several historical plantations (Boone Hall) are all within easy driving distance.

There are security personnel on site to ensure safety, as well as parking, beach, pool, and pier access privileges. Bikes, chairs, and beach umbrella rentals are available nearby. Shopping, dining, nightly entertainment and post office are a very short walk.

It is literally a couple block over there.

Our 'new' washer and dryers are located next to the pool and are coin operated on premises $2.00 quarters only, and these units are very nice large capacity front load washers & dryers and if you must do laundry why not on the ocean front next to a gated Pool, No Smoking, No pets, Activities (on site or nearby): tennis at Sullivan's Island or Wild Dune's ,pool on site, hiking on the beach, biking on the beach, golf at Patriots Point (Check Rates) , tennis, fishing pier, shopping, restaurants, live theater, cinemas, museums, plantations ,sightseeing, swimming, snorkeling/diving, boating, sailing, surfing, windsurfing, jet skiing(Breach Inlet), shelling & Crabbing too!

The Beach is fantastic and low tide is extra wide. Even at high tide you can get down the beach for a stroll. The historical areas in and around Charleston are convenient. Sullivan's Island, Mt.Pleasant,Charleston and Shem Creek are delightful thus you or your family can count on no hassles during the day or after dark. So many amenities are nearby such as the Patriots Point Golf Course (one of my very favorites golf courses and it is public) with ocean views from most of the course.You also can get on Wild Dunes which also offers spectacular views and well kept greens. Waterfront park is nearby where the family can relax on a wide man made walk jetty at the mighty COOPER RIVER. Enjoy a stroll over the Ravenel Bridge - you will not find a more relaxing and exciting walk anywhere with great views of the Cooper River. Nightlife in Charleston is packed with variety and choices my favorite is a night out at 'Hanks' for a wonderful white table cloth seafood dinner! We enjoy having a kitchen and the pristine beach view. The lovely sunrise and sunsets are something special. Take a slow walk on the private pier and enjoy the breeze, it is so worth your time. The Isle of Palms is known for winning the 'Blue Wave' award for clean beaches. Some of the criteria for that award is included but not limited to the list below;

Location was perfect. Beautiful view of the ocean. Sea Cabin was clean and had everything we needed. Enjoyed our stay and will definitely look at coming back.

Could use some updating.

The good...Location is great. Nice view. The not so good.... We rented two units. This one is in need of some tlc. Desperately needs new flooring and some paint. Appliances could also stand to be updated. This facility also doesn't have any elevator.

Owner's Response: Our unit is inspected by a professional third party service prior to and after each guest. We have no complaints from this professional service? We referred you to book the other Condo as a free service. Neither of the units advertised Elevator access? Except for the entry hall, the full Condo was re-painted in a high grade Eggshell in March of 2017.

Little effort

Little effort put into making this small

Condo nice. Floors dirty, appears swept but never mopped. Duct tape on everything that would move. EVERYTHING has the room number written on it with marker. Top/bottom written on bed linen. And written very large in the middle of the item. Condo number on pillows, cleaning supplies, decorations, etc... only 4 towels for a week. Ice maker didn't work. Not enough curtains on windows, making it difficult to keep light out when they would not close in both thebedroom and Living area. Oven temp higher than setting. Duct tape over hole in carpet on balcony. There were a few things upgraded so without those it would have been really bad. I guess it was OK for the money but definitely a disappointment.

We have no such comments like this from the professional cleaners or inspectors? We advised up front that "Charleston County" requires us to dump ice every change over.

Convenient and just about right

Working with Martin was a breeze. He was very responsive and helpful. The property itself was about what I expected. Small, needs some maintenance and upgrades but it was still comfortable and the location was great. The public beach access is right next door to Sea Cabins and so is the public beach parking so that particular area of the beach can get really crowded. I was happy with our stay and would recommend.

Owner's Response: Thank you for the feedback we are on the move to get things updated. Our cabin is on the other side of the public park. There is a boardwalk for access but it is over a fence. We love the south beach view toward Sullivans Island. As summer rolls on we have been booked solid. Thanks for your business.

Sea Cabins are great

Love staying at the Sea Cabins. Very convenient to restaurants, beach, everything you need is just steps away. This is my third time staying in one of the units. Will definitely come again.

On the sidewalk in the Isle of Palms from here beach front no need to drive. This Condo Is Walking Distance To Sullivans Island And Fort Moultrie but it is several miles from the unit on some of the most gorgeous beach front I have seen. Fort Sumter And Charleston Harbor Views From The Shores Of Sullivans Island. Absolutely pristine beaches are right out the front door of this units with views of Sullivans and Wild Dunes. The only ocean front pier for miles is private to these units with gated access for fishing or viewing.
