Nothing can compare to this view!

  • 5 of 5

My wife and I stayed here for 2 weeks in July, had a fantastic stay in A23. The owner was very accommodating to our needs, and the place was fantastic! The place was very clean, and organized, and in working order. Everything we needed to cook, and have a comfortable stay was right there, in the place along with newer appliances. Nothing beats being able to drinking your morning coffee on the Lanai and watching the spinner dolphins right outside the reef, to drinking a cold beer and watching the sunsets. Absolutely fantastic stay here! the Cal king mattress was nice too! The unit is located in such a great location too! Just a quick walk and you are at the farmers market, coffee shops, & dining facility! Would highly recommend to anyone that wants the best view to remember!

Can't beat the view

  • 3 of 5

Clean and easy to access but bed and couch were fairly uncomfortable. Looks like not too much maintenance has been done in quite some time. AC is a small wall mount and does not really cool down the bed room. However if you are looking for a no frills, condo for two right on the water this is it.

Owner's Response: We hear you! Upgrades done in the past two months. The bed issue is resolved. Brand new king size bed and mattress put in place. Updated kitchen with new smooth top stove, new microwave, toaster and coffee maker. Replaced water heater and installed new faucets in kitchen and bath. New fans in both living room and bedroom. Reupholstered all furniture.

Exceptional Value in the Heart of Kona

  • 5 of 5

We stayed here for 2 weeks in March and can say from experience that you would be hard pressed to find and nicer condo for the money. The balcony is literally steps from the water and gives way to a view to remember! The condo was extremely well appointed with everything we could want. Its within walking distance from downtown which makes it close to some of the best restaurants in Kona. If you prefer to stay in and grill, the grilling area is immaculate and again, has everything you would need.

We will definitely be back and would recommend this to anyone that would like to experience some of the best that Kona has to offer.

Sweet little condo!

  • 4 of 5

I very much enjoyed my time at this condo. GREAT location: next door to Kona Resort, VERY short walk many restaurants in Kailua Village. Also GREAT in respect to being LITERALLY oceanfront, with a full panoramic view (with boogie boarders and surfers and periodic dolphins right off your deck!). Though you should know that there are no true "swimming beaches" closer than 3 or 4 miles away. Inside, it is like many condos in Hawaii: late 60's/early 70's construction, pretty well maintained, some modest updating, not fancy. But has a nice "lived in feel", with cooking oil in the pantry, well-stocked kitchen, and even some pencils near the phone...which is different from many condos in Hawaii, where it is clear that they are only for rental, and no one is invested in the kitchen really being usable, etc. The ONLY downside IMO is the bedroom: all the bedrooms in this development face the internal area, where the walkways and stairways are located...so not much of a feeling of privacy in that part of the condo. Not a big deal, but noticeable to me.

Owner is communicative and easy to deal with. Highly recommended!
