Being an interior designer, great pride has been taken in making our home a mountain showcase. It is designed and decorated in a Rocky Mountain Colorado style. It is a very comfortable arrangement engaging family and friends to relax and enjoy the Vail Valley. The house offers gorgeous views of the Western Vail Valley from all windows. We often see herds of elk grazing on the golf course or walking on the trails behind the house. The sunsets are gorgeous to watch from the huge bay windows or while sitting on the outdoor deck which includes a gas grill.
The upper floor is a large grand room offering a gourmet kitchen with granite counters fully stocked with modern appliances, cookware, dinnerware and a large dining table to for 8 plus 3 counter bar stools. It is a perfect set up for cooking meals as well as for having cocktails and appetizers.
The upstairs also features a large rustic river rock wall gas fireplace, flatscreen tv, large leather sectional plus other seating, vaulted ceilings, wood beams and all hardwood floors. Includes, beautiful accessories, art and antler chandeliers. Also upstairs, is a queen bedroom and full bathroom.
On the middle floor is the master bedroom with King Bed, walk in closets, TV, a large bathroom with a jacuzzi tub and separate shower. Beautiful down valley views from the bedroom and the small outside deck. Also a separate large complete laundry room.
Lower floor offers queen bedroom, TV, private bathroom-shower and tub. Also an additional large bedroom with 4 bunk beds, TV and another private bathroom with shower and tub. Plus two
portacribs in the closet.
The house is equipped with high speed Wi-Fi internet service. There is a heated 2 car garage with bicycles, sleds and ski storage. There is additional outdoor parking in designated areas
You will have access to the Arrowhead Dial-a-Ride during the ski season. This is not a public bus or shuttle. Dial-a-Ride is a private van that comes directly to your doorstep within minutes of your call. The van will take you right to the family friendly Arrowhead lift- personally the easiest place to start skiing. From here you can ski the beautiful groomers of Arrowhead, explore Bachelor Gulch and ski the world famous Beaver Creek ski resort all from Arrowhead. You will also have access to a shuttle bus that can take you directly to Bachelor Gulch and Beaver Creek once at Arrowhead. If you want to ski Vail, you can drive there and park in their lots or take the local bus.
This area is so desirable because of a perfect location to winter skiing, summer sports, fabulous shopping and restaurants. We are right across the street from the Eagle River which offers world class fly fishing year round plus a beautiful walking/running and cycling path. Just minutes away is Edwards Riverwalk shopping center- full of cute boutiques, sporting good stores, fine dining, family dining, grocery stores and a movie theater. Minutes away are Wal Mart and City Market for stocking up on groceries and supplies. The Ritz Carlton Bachelor Gulch and The Westin Avon are just minutes away too - great places for apres ski and meals. Beaver Creek Village is just 5 minutes up the hill. Many more local restaurants, shops and bars within a five minute drive. Vail Village- 12 minutes.

About the owner: My wife and I are from the Bay Area of California. We have 3 grown children and grandchildren. We enjoy having our family out to our CO home to enjoy the mountains all seasons of the year.

We purchased this house after we fell in love with the Vail Valley. After visiting Vail for many years, we realized this is just such a great place to spend time. There is so much to do. It is a wonderful community and we have made many friends here. We specifically like this location as we feel more like a local and not a tourist. Able to find affordable deals on meals, shopping, activities.

We just can't say enough about the location of our house. We think it is the most ideal in the Vail Valley. We can still go ski with the hot shots of Vail but also enjoy the serenity and peace of our area. The wilderness is just beautiful. There are always fun things going on- music and food festivals, concerts, ski races, art shows, farmer's markets, octoberfests and so much more.
