Sardegna- a pool home on the canal!

This beautiful vacation home sits on canal with it's own private dock and is just seconds from Mashes Sands Beach and a public boat ramp. The home has 3 bedrooms, 3 full bathrooms, 2 master bedrooms with screened in porches, a large fenced-in pool and is surrounded by palm trees. It comes with an outdoor shower, a picnic table, a fish cleaning table and a large deck with a birds eye view of Ochlockonee Bay! This home truly has it all, and the location is great for outdoor fun and adventure!

This home is being managed by Rent with Integrity Property Management, and we are located at 2851 Crawfordville Highway in Crawfordville, Florida . We will provide you with a number to call after hours if a need arises. We offer a remote check-in option and provide you with the requirements to obtain the code to the lock box code. We ask all of our guests to complete a pre-arrival form and sign a rental contract after booking. You will be sent a link to complete each of these quick items after booking.

Absolutely beautiful large pool, fenced in and surrounded by beautiful palm trees! Outdoor shower, large carport, large deck with birds eye view overlooking Ochlockonee Bay! Great area for fishing, boating, biking or just beaching! Within walking distance to Mashes Sands Beach - and about 10 minutes away from Alligator Point Beach!

Everything we wanted in a vacation home

Our vacation home checklist mainly wanted somewhere that had a nice pool, close to beaches, and was not in an overly touristy area and this house delivered on everything. We had a great time fishing on the dock in the mornings and checking out the local area restaurants at night which were awesome. The only thing I will say could be improved on is the living room seating which didn’t affect our trip too much since there was only two of us and we were mostly outside, but if you have more than one family and plan on watching tv, it is not the most comfortable furniture. Other than that, the home had everything you would want and need for a week away. We loved panacea and plan to be back next year!

Pool was great option for off and on rainy days. Dock has some fish around during high tide and horseshoe drive great if you bring a boat. House is great location, adequately equipped, clean and comfortable. Very responsive help with wifi / tv. Only wish was for a firmer mattress, every one seemed on the softer side but just my opinion, everyone sleeps different

Disappointing Stay

We had a seven day rental. Handyman on property one day replacing deck boards. On three different days, we had HVAC repairmen. Water leaking through the aircondition ducts. That’s four of seven days we had repairmen on property. There is still a hole in the ceiling of one of the bedrooms (we reported this the first day). We had five people in our party but we were short on towels when we arrived. Lost internet on two different days when there were no areas reporting the internet being down. Spoke with property manager who assured me she would get back with us. Never heard back from said property manager. Some sort of compensation/refund is expected. The house has a nice setup, but we NEVER felt like guests as we were interrupted most days of our stay.

Overlooked town on Forgotten Coast

Very quiet, low traffic, and unhurried area, yet town of Panacea has several restaurants with great seafood and is only minutes away by car from beautiful, uncrowded beaches. Sardenga house was clean, comfortable and spacious. Pool was well maintained and widow's watch atop house made for good star gazing.

Beautiful location

Great house, fantastic response from property manager when we had an issue. Pool is lovely and the area is quiet and lovely.

Perfect stay

Great pool and location

We enjoyed our time here. The pool is amazing, we enjoyed beating the heat by hanging out in and next to the pool. Lots of great floaties and seats to sit next to the pool. Close walk to the beach or a quick drive to Alligator Point- we enjoyed both beaches. House was comfortable. We all enjoyed ourselves. Having the dock was fun, we did some fishing.

Great vacation home!

We loved staying here. Had a great week and can't wait to find time to get back for another stay. Very quiet and beautiful location. Great home for relaxing by the pool and having a calm vacation. Loved it!

Great Vacation

We had a great vacation, and plently of room for the 5 of us and 2 dogs. The pool was a little cold for us, so we didn't get to enjoy it as much as we had hoped.

Nice!

Loved this home! There were a few maintenance issues which we addressed via email, good communication. The walkable beach (Mashes) is .5 miles, fine for our family with a wagon with all the stuff. Mashes beach isn't traditional as it's on the end (sand flies, seaweed, not a large area). We ended up going to Alligator point public beach access which was about 18 min drive. The pool and spaciousness/layout of the home more than made up for it :-D !

Fantastic Vacation Home

Our party of 5 stayed in this home for the month of March and it was incredible. The home itself is well laid out and offered privacy as well as communal areas to suit everyone. Any small issues we had were immediately handled by Monica the wonderful property manager. The neighbors were very warm and welcoming and the house is located very close to a park and a beach which we frequented often. We would have returned for 3 months next year however it was already booked. This may be our favorite house in 6 years of wintering in Florida. Absolute heaven.

Perfect vacation house

We had a lovely time at the house. The location was perfect for our fishing. We were able to dock the boat at the house for very easy in and out. The house was well stocked with everything we would need. The pool was perfect for a swim after a long day on the water. Definitely looking forward to booking next year.

We were unaware that we had to go to the real estate office, to get our keys, until the day of check in, when I called the office, and then had to resort to calling the owners. We arrived at 2:50 pm. We waited around until 3:30, and entered the property. It was a mess. Filthy dirty. Beds were unmade. Sheets and towels were dirty. Kitchen was dirty. Bathrooms were dirty. Floors were dirty. We had to go buy cleaning products, do all the sheets and towels, so we would have somewhere to sleep, and something to dry off with. We had to clean the bathrooms and kitchen. We had called the property manager, and emailed her, several times, before we received a response. They said THE MAID failed to schedule herself. Passing the buck and throwing the maid under the bus is totally unacceptable. Maid finally came at 6 pm. We went fishing and to dinner. We got back around 8:30 pm. Maid was gone. Floors were vacuumed, but laundry was not finished, so we had no blankets or comforters. I did not have time to wash them at that point, as we were exhausted from doing laundry, cleaning the house, and driving all morning. I did not pay to stay here, so I could do chores. I was looking forward to relaxing when I got there and so was my husband. We ended up, having to go buy $50 worth of cleaning supplies as there were none in the house, and then cleaning it. The CLEANING FEE, of $175.00 was refunded, however, I am still disappointed in the condition of the rental property. Also, the lounge chairs by the pool were all cracked and broken. Unusable. I feel that I should be refunded at least one nights stay, as none of this was our fault, and it was very stressful. House was nice, and in a great location, which is why we chose it. Neither the property manager, nor the owner seemed embarrassed or concerned about the condition of the property. They did not apologize for it, they only threw it off on the maid. It is completely disgusting, to have to do someone else’s dirty sheets and towels, and to have to clean the showers, sinks, and toilets, upon arrival at your vacation rental. I would like to give this place a 10, but it was too disgusting when we got there.
