Modernized Farm House On a U Pick Farm

Amenities, Amenities, Amenities.... We have a great kitchen, with a beautiful view of an ancient oak tree and the beautiful Santa Ynez Mountains. A jacuzzi on the terrace for the perfect nighttime relaxation and a cozy fire pit with enough seating for 6. The master bathroom even has a steam shower as well as a free standing tub. The decor of this house is lovely, classic, high end and elegantly western. It is roomy and has plenty of space for 6 people. All of the bedrooms have full bathrooms and there is even a powder room by the front door. The outdoor kitchen will please the best of the best grillers. There is plenty of space for eating al Fresca! Picnic tables and sofas adorn the patio. You'll even get a view of the pond and a gate to the farm stand, should you need any fresh fruits or veggies. Each bedroom has its own televisions and there are three gas fireplaces throughout. The location could not be any better. We are located in Santa Ynez, near places like Bob's Well Bread in Ballard, SY Kitchen and Los Olivos where you will find over 100 tasting rooms and great restaurants. We are 5.7 miles to the town of Solvang. Across the highway is La Herradura, the famous polo fields. You will feel far away from civilization yet be close to it all. You are minutes away from the gourmet Los Olivos Market. There is plenty of parking, even for an RV, and an EV charging station. We hope you will relax and enjoy our beautiful valley as much as we do. About our farm.....Here at Summerset Farm, we pride ourselves on offering pesticide free, NON-GMO produce, cut flowers, local honey, premium olive oils, small batch artisanal jams, farm fresh eggs and more. Welcome! Please note: A signed rental agreement is required prior to check in.

We have rented and stayed in several beautiful homes and this home has been our Favorite!! The house was immaculate, the kitchen was well equipped and the owner has thought of everything when it comes so many details throughout the house. Fabulous property. Kim was great to communicate with. She shared many suggestions that were excellent. The property was centrally located to Santa Ynez, Los Olivos and Solvang. Wine and restaurants were first class. Hiking and horseback riding was easy to get to and very fun. Can’t say enough about the property well stocked, private and better than photos. Highly recommend this property.

This Santa Ynez home was truly one of the best places we’ve stayed. It was beautiful, comfortable, and felt so welcoming. The only small wish would be for a fenced property, but we would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it.

The photos of the property were lovely and the experience was even better when we arrived. The house is thoughtfully laid out and provides great utility while being immaculate and very comfortable to be in. We lacked no amenities and the user instructions for mechanical devices were excellent. The views are beautiful and the yard is meticulously maintained. Everything worked, there were nice touches in the kitchen like eggs and butter which we appreciated. The only sound at night was frogs in the pond, like a sleep track. For people looking for chill relaxation in the perfect location, couldn’t recommend any more strongly.

This is a GORGEOUS home with beautiful views. Very peaceful as well. It is one of the best equipped VRBO homes we have ever stayed in. The hose was welcoming (including a basket of goodies) and responsive.

Spectacular doesn’t do this farmhouse justice…absolute dream home! From the decor, welcome book with all types of info, and fresh eggs and jams in fridge this place has it all! Will definitely be back and highly recommended to anyone who wants to simply relax!

Perfect place in Santa Ynez

Relaxing oasis

We had the best week at the Farmhouse. It was gorgeous, cozy, and we truly appreciated all of the thoughtful touches the host had arranged for us. The location can't be beat -- just minutes from Los Olivios, Santa Ynez, and lots of wineries.

From the first interaction with Kim through our departure, everything was A-one! We were fully informed and had our questions answered prior to arrival. Upon arrival, what else could we say....but WOW. The home, the property, the indoor AND outdoor kitchens, so many beautiful nooks to sit and enjoy the amazing views. Amazing stay!

This is a lovely property inside and out. We we stayed a few days for a small business sales retreat. Very well located between Los Olivos, Santa Ynez and Solvang. A short, easy drive to fine dining, lunch spots, wine tasting and anything else we wished to enjoy. Kim was a lovely property manager to deal with and kept in contact throughout our stay. Would definitely recommend this property on all levels.
