Amazing Waterfront Hamptons Amagansett Cottage!!!
Quaint, but not claustrophobic, 2 bdrm (dbl bed in each), 1 bath Amagansett cottage with additional outdoor shower on swimmable bay-fed pond with awesome views!
Steps to bay and famous kite boarding/windsurfing beach. Surrounded by sand dunes and natural preserves. 2.5 miles to the ocean (although only 1 mile as the crow flies). It feels like you're in another world, but you're only a 6 minute drive to the Amagansett village and a 12 minute drive to East Hampton or Montauk.
One double and 4 single kayaks make for a wondrous adventure: put kayaks into the pond across the road and take curvy inlet to the Harbor and bay. Bluestone patio out front (where greetings at friendly neighbors abound) with water views, and sand dune side yard with deck, picnic table, umbrella, lounge furniture, herb garden, propane gas grill.
Flowers and greenery will have grown in for the season and you will truley enjoy my magical 'bliss abyss.' Watering flowers is part of the deal, please. I have mostly repeat renters. My regulars loved the place and area so much they bought a place around the bend! Electric base-board heat (mostly not needed), cable and internet. Must use cleaning svs at least every 2 weeks.
No pets, except maybe a small dog w/ extra security deposit and prof cleaning).
I am currently only looking for a seasonal renter to start July 1 and go through Sept. 6th for $20,500 for full season!! If I have to break it up: July- $9500

Why they chose this property
I love this spot! It is truly magical. Although it is close to the road, it feels serene. The pond attracts wonderful birds (egrets- big white birds w/ long necks, and osprey, etc...)
What makes this property unique
Former renters swam in the pond daily as their exercise (use bay shoes, as there are clams and little shellfish hanging out, but nothing that can harm you).
