We really enjoyed our stay-the home was clean, nicely stocked, and had lots of thoughtful touches that made it feel welcoming. The kitchen was well equipped, and there were a few surprise niceties that made a great first impression.The location is great and close to everything, though itâs on a busy road. A few things kept it from being a full five stars: the king-size bed was quite hard, the heater felt a bit concerning, the narrow parking spot didnât fit our truck so we had to park on the street, and communication was occasionally challenging.I also let the host know about a burn mark on the couch right after we arrived â just so we wouldnât be held responsible â and their âno problemâ reply felt a bit odd instead of confirming they were aware. The biggest frustration was not getting a timely response when we requested a late checkout at 7:45 a.m. on Sunday. After two hours of back-and-forth, we had to pack up by 10:30, which cut into rare time with friends.Overall, itâs a lovely property with lots of care put into guest comfort and details â just a few small issues kept it from being perfect.
