Perfect for a multi-generation family reunion, the 5000 square foot colonial features a state-of-the-art kitchen with a large center island that is fully set up with cookware for the most sophisticated chef. Sliding glass doors open from the kitchen onto a large blue stone patio, where guests will find a Weber grill, patio table and chairs, and fire pit.
Surrounded by a hedge of flowers, the in-ground pool is one of the largest private pools in Williamstown. Lounge by the pool or play bocce or badminton on the lush lawns surrounding the pool.
The stunning arts & crafts dining room opens onto a side deck, while the parlor opens onto a charming front porch furnished with wicker furniture. A further downstairs room has a flat screen TV and cable.
The house is furnished with eclectic artwork and furniture from around the world, collected on travels through Europe, India and Asia.
The huge master bedroom suite boasts a king sized bed, cathedral ceilings, a ceiling fan, flat screen TV with cable, and an adjoining bathroom with his/her sinks, jet tub, and elegant shower area.
An additional large bedroom has a queen sized bed and window seat, and a third large room has two twin beds and charming dormer ceilings. The second and third bedrooms share a bathroom, while the fourth bedroom features a sleigh bed and its own bathroom with original claw foot tub.
A private studio apartment with bath is situated in an outbuilding on the property, and sleeps an additional 2 people. The studio is included in the price of Graduation and Alumni rentals or you can rent it separately if you like for an additional $100 per night. During the summer months, we don't rent out the studio separately from the house so if you aren't renting the studio as well, rest assured the pool will still be private to you and your party.

About Owner/Property Manager
Originally from Boston, I have lived in NYC, London, Paris and Florence. I love to travel - but I have been based in Williamstown for the past 20 years. In addition to travel, I love yoga, cycling, hiking, skiing, and sailing. If I'm not here, I'm probably off doing one of those things!
Why Owner/Property Manager chose Williamstown
The Berkshires offer a unique combination of natural beauty and cultural sophistication. I hope that my home, furnishings, and property mirror this! I am delighted to share my comfortable home with fellow travelers who will enjoy the eclectic furnishings from my travels and treat the house as if it were their own. Nothing is more delightful than to enjoy an outing at Clark or a hike up the Pine Cobble trail on a hot summer day, and to return to the house for a dip in the pool and a barbecue on the patio!

Beautiful and well equipped home.
We stayed here for a week with our extended family. This is a beautiful, well maintained and furnished home that made our stay together a joy. The house is situated on a beautiful and large lot and the pool was a treat for both adults and children. the location across the street from a park/preserve area make for great impromptu walks. the kitchen was more than fully equipped with lots of condiments and essentials available for our use. all in all a terrific week in this lovely home.
Stayed here for college reunion weekend with several other couples. The house is extremely well-kept and beautifully decorated with pieces from all over the world. The owner is very nice and easy to work with. Rooms are spacious and comfortable. We would stay there again in a heartbeat!
Thanks, Lynnette! So glad you enjoyed yourselves!
A wonderful week
Our family - 5 adults, an 8 year old and a 2 year old - had a lovely week's vacation staying in this home. The house and yard are spacious, and gracious. The pool, with diving board, chairs and umbrella, and float devices, was very nice. The large flat lawn was great for bocce and for kicking around a soccer ball. The patio was also spacious, well equipped, and attractive. The huge kitchen with dining area - and even a second sink - worked wonderfully for us, as did the general layout of the house. Its location felt rural but was close to town and much else - the Clark Institiute, MassMoCA, Hancock Shaker Village; several nature preserves for walking, and hiking areas as well. All this less than 3 hours from NYC and Boston. We were very happy with our choice of this house and this area.
Jon F - this is an amazing home - great for enjoying life, entertaining, and having a great vacation
We stayed in this property for a week preparing for our daughters wedding and it was truly amazing - beautiful, welcoming, comfortable and great for socializing and entertaining. The grounds are very pretty, there are outdoor spaces for enjoying the pool or BBQ'ing, and the house has a wonderful family room, dining room, and kitchen, and the master is amazing -- it's very nice in the pictures but it is way better than that in real life. We also entertained there and the property and home were perfect for that - a great floor plan and very comfortable and special place. We would return in a heartbeat and highly recommend that you vacation here -- you wont be sorry.
Beautiful home in the Berkshires
What a perfect place for a family reunion! Conveniently located on the outskirts of town, this home is spacious and well-equipped, with a gorgeous new kitchen and lovely pool, large yard, and patio. The owner greeted us warmly, showed us around, and encouraged us to treat the home as our own, which we truly appreciated. We were extremely comfortable with four adults and two small children, ages 3 and 5, and we would recommend the home to anyone except those who might have difficulty with stairs (access to the bedrooms). Our visit was in mid-July, but we would love to come back in the winter--such a wonderful spot, and so much to do in Williamstown and the surrounding area!
A lovely spot to reunite with friends
My husband and I, and three other couples, stayed at this beautiful, welcoming house for four days in June 2015. The house is even more spacious than it appears in photos, and is artistically and comfortably decorated with interesting artifacts from the owner's trips. There are many sitting rooms to settle in for a good read or conversation, but our favorite spot was the big farm table in the spacious kitchen to catch up with one another over coffee and tea in the morning. The front porch with hanging flower baskets was our spot for early evening cocktails, and the back patio by the pool was our spot for late night conversations over a dram of whiskey after returning from activities at the college. The whole experience was comfortable and civilized, with the lovely murmurings of the river across the road to lull one to sleep at night. This house was a gracious backdrop to a fun and relaxing reunion with friends. All eight of us want to return again, and other friends are signing up to join us on a waiting list, having heard what a lovely time we had.
The rich cultural life of the Berkshires is at your doorstep: the renowned summer stock Williamstown Theater Festival, the Sterling & Francine Clark Art Museum's world class collection of paintings and sculpture, a trip to the fabulous MassMoCA, or an unforgettable evening under the stars listening to classical music at Tanglewood. Jacob's Pillow, The Mount, and Shakespeare & Company are also nearby.
There are dozens of scenic hikes nearby that will take you along streams, to waterfalls or to breathtaking views. And all the cycling that you could desire! Whether your are a culture vulture or an an avid outdoors lover, there is something for everyone in the Berkshires.
