Close to trails, restaurants, and downtown. The cabin is within a couple blocks of truly great restaurants. Spenard Roadhouse and Bear Tooth Theater are local favorites. Yak & Yeti serves great Tibetan food to go. For nightlife, Chilkoot Charlie's is close by which is like a little mecca of different bars and has live music every night. If you head in, I advise heading straight to the bird house for some local stories. Ask the bartender there about the ptarmigan horn.
Close to bus stops for those who use public transportation. Nearby there is a bike rental shop that has mountain bikes and e-bikes.

Only had one night to stay in Anchorage and this certainly was a good choice clean and roomy for the four of us. We enjoyed having pizza in. Beds were comfortable.
Stayed here our first night after arriving in Anchorage. Great location to pick up supplies etc before heading out to other parts in Alaska. Beds were super comfortable and lots of space in kitchen, living room, dining area. Perfect for our needs.
The place was super cute super clean great for what I needed it for the only thing is in the listing I was not aware that it was connected to other units but still have a great overall experience!

Unique small house
Nice little stay for what it is, a little more dim/aged than the pictures imply. Close proximity neighbors, history is unique on the house but you can certainly see its age. Had a solid time!
This property is clean and easy to access, host has great communication and the amenities such as the yard and fire pit made our stay very enjoyable - highly recommended staying.
She's an old gal, but she's a cutie-pattotie! Quiet neighborhood despite its looks. Does get warm in the evenings, but owner has provided fans (thank you for those). Will be booking again, if in the area.
Small place that worked for our 2 night stay. Neighborhood was a little sketch, many homeless people walking about. However, they did not mess with our car or the place.
The cabin was cozy and welcoming. Even with the other cabins near by, we never heard other guest. The property was completely fenced in other than the entrance which was nice to be able to take our dog out and sit by the fire pit area. (We didn’t have a fire, but they had everything you would need In order to). Will definitely stay again.
This is an older unit, it was smaller than I imagined, but adequate for what we needed. We were in Anchorage for shopping and having a conveniently located place with a full size fridge and freezer on top to keep things cold/frozen is a bonus. Having the keurig was great too! There are a few spices and condiments also. The cottage was clean and the area was quiet.
The couch was broken and didn’t know, sat down and right to the floor I went.. but other than that it was great. They came and fixed the couch.. it was later in the next day but still fixed it !

Basic unit , photos on line looked better than it actually was. Not the most comfortable beds. Blankets had a terrible odor, as did the entire space. Definitely not enough room for 5 people.
