Frequently asked questions
About the host
Hosted by Margaret Murton
We split our time between Brooklyn and Cape Cod with our young daughter and love the mix of city life and coastal calm. We spend our days cooking, reading, exploring new places, and soaking up beach time whenever we can. When we’re on the Cape, you’ll usually find us around the fire with family, cooking dinner, or playing bocce under the lights. We love sharing that same easy, welcoming feeling with our guests.
Why they chose this property
We love Dennis for its walkable, small-village feel and the comfort of having family nearby. It’s the perfect mix of local charm and coastal beauty with great restaurants, small shops, a local cinema and playhouse, an art museum, and some of the most stunning bayside beaches on the Cape. Centrally located, it’s quiet and easygoing in the off-season, yet full of life in summer. The shoulder seasons are our favorite - the best of both worlds.
What makes this property unique
Located on historic, tree-lined Whig Street, our home has the relaxed, easy rhythm that makes Cape life so special. It’s designed for gathering - coffee on the porch, dinners by the fire, and long days at the beach. It’s walkable to both the beaches and town, yet set back enough to offer a quiet place to unwind at the end of the day.
