Why Wayne Booker chose North Forest Beach
We have been going to Hilton Head since 1984 and love the island. We grew up going to the Jersey Shore, but find so many more amenities on the island. Our house is in a very private residential area, so our beaches are never crowded. We are just a few steps from the beach.
What makes this House unique
While a ranch house doesn't look very 'beachy' on the outside (it does on the inside), it is very nice to not carry suitcases and groceries up several flights of steps. This makes it especially nice for seniors and parents with young children. Our yard is very private, and has a great mix of sun and shade at all parts of the day. It is sometimes hard to leave your nice chair around the pool and go to the beach (even thought it is very close).

Great house, great pool and great location!!!!
We had a great week. The house is in a great location, being so close to everything including the beach, which was just steps away. And when not at the beach, the pool was so enjoyable. Our trip was being threatened by the hurricane but the owner kept us well informed about the house and the weather. Our trip went as planned and we had the most wonderful time.
We really appreciate such a nice review. The uncertainty about the approach of Dorian was unsettling, but most of it was bluster and the island got just some wind and rain fortunately. I think that the odds are now with us after so many scares in the last couple of years.
Nancy was such a nice person I really hope to see her at our house in the future.
Great pool and close to the beach
Great property that really was only steps to the beach. Pool is large and the yard is fenced in so lots of privacy to just lounge around. Nice screened porch for meals and coffee in the morning. It is also very convenient to shopping and restaurants in the Coligny area, but the neighborhood itself is very private and so is the beach. None of the big crowds that you see at the public beaches.
Great place to stay! Convenient!
Plenty of spacious rooms to spread out and all on one level! Convenient outside shower to rinse off the sand before you take a dip in the pool! Overall great experience and convenient location!! Highly recommend!
Everything was great
The house is a great location. So close to the beach and a short walk of bike ride to the shops and restaurants of Coligny. The owner was easy to contact and work with for the only issue we had. Everything you need is provided including papertowels, TP, dish soap, laundry detergent, dishwasher detergent even a wagon for the beach.
Always so glad to see that our guests enjoy our home as much as we do!
Great location. Wayne was also helpful when needed.
Worked well for 2 families. Location was quiet but close to the action of Coligny park - and you could bike there on the bike path. Getting the bike rentals delivered right to the house was the way to go. Pool was perfect for the kids. The kitchen was a little tight as was one of the bathrooms but we spent the majority of time outside. The pool wasn't quite right when we got there but Wayne walked me through getting things flushed and the pump back on. This was a great experience.
Unfortunately just before these guests arrived there was a lot of rain and it put a lot of leaves from our trees in the pool and clogged the filter. Mother Nature does rule. We are really grateful when guests understand things that are beyond our control.
Visit Savannah, GA, a beautiful city with terrific walking tours and great restaurants on the waterfront. Home of Paula Deen of the Food Channel. One hour drive thru wonderful low country roads.
Also visit Charleston, SC, one of the most charming cities in the world. Site of Fort Sumter and many historic homes. It is about 2.5 hours north, but still close enough for a day trip.
Beaufort, SC is about 1 hour north and it has many of the same types of historical homes. It is the location for a number of very popular movies.
