The Owner purchased this house in 2005
We chose this slice of paradise because it is like having our own Nature Channel - there is always something interesting happening out the window!
We love being just minutes away from great dining, entertainment and all the recreational amenities Whidbey has to offer - and being able to return to the privacy, beauty and serenity of our beach bluff.
Lovely house, with great views and really quiet, just what we wanted as we live in the city. Loads of space with a big kitchen, great for cooking. There was a problem with the BBQ which Sue solved pretty quickly. The views are amazing, the house is near the edge of a cliff, might not be good with small children. There is a telescope in the house which was such a treat to look at everything out on the bay. We loved this house, and are already planning our next trip!
The Bluff property was very charming with a beautiful view. There was a bottle of wine waiting for us on arrival, the house had everything we needed for a relaxing stay. We stayed in the second night to hang out and watch the spectacular sunset. You need a car if you are staying here.
From the outside, you can't tell how spacious this cottage is; and very quiet. I love the warm decor and big kitchen with everything a cook like me needed. There were five of us, so this place was perfect in every way. I love the big window in the kitchen facing the bay, barbecuing and watching the sunset from the back yard. Due to the conflicts in our schedule it took us three different try to get the date that we wanted and Susan was really nice about it throughout the whole process. We brought with us plenty of wines since this is our 5th year, but a nice bottle of red wine on the dinning room table waiting for us was a plus. Thank you, we will def be back to this beautiful, quaint cottage again.
This beautifully-decorated cottage is the perfect place for a completely relaxing getaway. The views are just stunning and the house has everything you need to relax, unwind, and cook gourmet meals -- or explore the restaurants, beaches, and trails of Whidbey. The owner is so nice, responsive, and a pleasure to work with. This is our go-to place to return to year after year. In the morning, you can sit and watch herons, eagles, and other birds along the shore at low tide. In the evening, the sunsets are gorgeous. The home is very clean, spacious, and comfortable. I can't say enough good things about the whole experience!
What a surprise to find a nice bottle of wine on the table! It was a beautiful place to spend the evening at, the bluff had many spectacles of different birds that performed fly byes. A perfect place so close to Langley to finish our race and have enough time to pick up groceries at nearby stores.
Plenty of room for the 5 of us. Quiet, tranquil, cozy. We'd planned dinners out, but ended up staying "in" - food and wine on the deck, watching the sunsets over the water, then a repeat in the morning with coffee. A quick drive to beaches and hiking, and close to fun shopping in Langley and Coupeville. And my out of state friends loved the ferry ride. Staying at Bluff House met all the requirements for a perfect 26th annual girls' weekend!! Susan provided us with all the info we needed to see and do what we wanted. Highly recommend it!
