K201 is a private one bedroom resort condo only a short walk away from the beach! Located on the second floor, the condo has a beautiful view of Mauna Lani's Hawaiian fishponds and garden landscapes. Guest can enjoy beautiful sunset dinners on the covered lanai with plenty of seating and wet bar. The living room features brand new carpet flooring, comfortable seating and a television with DVD/CD player. Preparing meals will be a delight in the redone kitchen with new appliances and granite counter tops. The master bedroom features a king size bed and an en-suite master bathroom with a separate hot tub and shower. Enjoy staying in one of the most sought after locations at the Mauna Lani Resort - a short walk away from the Beach Club, a private beach and restaurant that guests at K201 are provided free access.

Very nice condo, decently equipped. Very relaxing location with view of fishpond. Very short walk to beach and many different walking paths.

Needs updating

Overall, Mauna Lani Terrace Condominiums is a very nice property in an excellent location. However, this unit, K201, fell short of our expectations. We had stayed in a different 1 bedroom unit in the past and found it delightful. K201 has not been updated and feels "old". Also, it is carpeted in the living area and bedroom, but the carpet was dirty with black spots in places, particularly as you entered the living area from the entry way. Also, the electrical wire and encasement to the ceiling fan in the bedroom had dislodged and was hanging from the ceiling. South Kohala Management did respond to our concerns with the carpet cleaned relatively well 2-3 days after check in. The hanging electrical wire was also repaired in a timely manner. The cabinets on the patio seemed "junky" with an old out of order TV stored their. In summary, nice complex and location but this unit does not measure up to our previous unit or pictures of other units available online.
