About Mark and Lillie Large

I am a counselor/therapist and my wife, Lillie, is an elementary school teacher. We have 3 wonderful children and 2 fabulous grandchildren.

Mark and Lillie Large purchased this house in 2011

Why Mark and Lillie Large chose Pigeon Forge

I spent many summers as a boy on my grandfather's farm located just below this property. There I learned to love nature and these mountains. My wife and I decided to share with others this special place that means so much to our family.

What makes this house unique

It's located just across the road from a riding stable, petting zoo, and free community partk. It's just down the road from the Smoky Mountain Zip Line.

Great place to stay!

  • 5 of 5

I wanted to say what a wonderful time we had this weekend at the beautiful place. It was very accommodating to our church group. The owners were very helpful and responded quickly to my emails. This house is basically two houses in one. You could either stay upstairs or downstairs and not miss anything. It was very clean and very welcoming. I would highly recommend this rental and we would definitely stay here again! Thank you for your hospitality!!!

Awesome vacation home for Large Group

  • 5 of 5

We stayed at this cabin with 12 peoples and one of the good thing about this as location very easy for us to find location in GPS. Easy access to waffle house, pizza hut, publix everything was very close. Apart from location cabin itself is beautiful. We all were like wow! amazing cabin and amazing surrounding. Cabin was having plenty of plates, towels. Very clean cabin. We would love to visit again.

This house was a very nice place to stay and much larger than I expected.

  • 5 of 5

I don't usually do reviews but we were extremely glad we chose this house so I had to write something. We spent 4 nights here last week (July 2017) and this house was set up very well. It had plenty of plates, cups ,silverware, towels, etc.. There was even a high chair at the house that we really appreciated. It was like having 2 houses in one with the separate kitchen , bathroom and A/C control on the lower level. The house was clean and fairly well maintained. As stated in the description, it is very secluded and at night the you can hear plenty of crickets and other wildlife outside.

I can't really say enough good things about this place, my wife wanted to move in as soon as we arrived.

Thanks again 👍?

Perfect vacation home for large family!!!

  • 5 of 5

We loved this home and the owners were so easy to deal with. We had 14 family members from the age of 6 months to 53 years old and everyone enjoyed the home which had plenty of room for everyone without feeling cramped at all. Generally we all gathered upstairs for meals and then spent a lot of time downstairs either playing pool, card or video games or just spending time together. The home was close to all the excitement of the parkway while still being secluded enough that you could just enjoy nature. We will definitely stay here again next time we go to Pigeon Forge.

Awesome!!!

  • 5 of 5

The house was very spacious, we had more than enough space due to some of our family members didn't get to come. Distance from everything was extremely close. Thank you Mark & Lillie for sharing your beautiful home with us, we will stay again on next trip to Pigeon Forge/Gatlinburg.

Sincerely,

Kerri & family

Great home for large families.

  • 4 of 5

Loved our stay at the Mountain House. Very spacious for large families. I did not give it five stars because of the very poor Wireless internet service. Because of our family members jobs, it was important that we have good internet service. We couldn't even get enough signal to read emails. We had to go to town to be able to check our email. Cell phone signal was very poor also. As far as the house goes, the beds were the most comfortable of any house we have stayed in. Plenty of room for everyone and very secluded for plenty of rest. If you don't depend on great internet or cell phone service, this is the house for you.
