Great stay!

  • 5 of 5

My friends and I enjoyed our weekend stay here very much. The house was clean and well-stocked. It was in a great location too- a very short walk to the restaurants and shops of downtown Lee. The house was quiet and comfortable.

Cozy home in the perfect town

  • 5 of 5

We enjoyed our stay at the Garfield house...despite the frigid temperatures we found plenty to entertain us! Location Location Location! So much to do in walking distance. Jeff couldn't be more accommodating! He actually stopped by to tell us to make sure we kept the house nice and warm! The house is perfect, with every amenity you could want.

We did do a moonlight hike at the Hilltop Orchard in Richmond...I would highly recommend this!

Girls' Getaway

  • 4 of 5

This was a perfect long weekend getaway for a girlfriend and I who were trying to wrap up holiday shopping at the Lee Outlets and also enjoy some time checking out local restaurants and scenery.

The house did not disappoint. It was very comfortable and the décor fit right in with the home while also providing modern conveniences. Between sitting inside and looking outside to families walking on the sidewalk bundled up for the cold, it truly felt like stepping back in time which was incredibly peaceful and smile invoking. I had difficulty working the television, but it was not a problem for us as we just stayed up late talking and laughing. It actually was much better this way! There are also a few games and books left around the home for guests to enjoy.

The upstairs bedroom was a little cold and I have to admit I was concerned; however, there is a cozy electric blanket on the bed where you can control how warm you would like it. It was perfect, and I actually slept very well with the cool air for my nose and the toasty blankets keeping me quite warm and comfortable.

I missed Jeff's email to me reviewing what to do when we arrived, but he took my call and kindly directed me - no issues, and I was both apologetic and grateful for this.

The location to the outlets could not be more convenient, and while it was cold we enjoyed short walks to venture downtown for some great food. Really, the location could not be beat for what we were in town to accomplish and enjoy, and the ability to walk downtown and do a little shopping and enjoy lunch or dinner at a variety of different kinds of restaurants was much appreciated...and the food all delicious. The Starving Artist's Café was a favorite for lunch. Other great restaurants downtown include Morgan House Restaurant (American) and Timothy's Restaurant and Pizzeria. We hope next time we come to try Chez Nous (they had no reservations available the night we wanted to go) as it is literally a few steps from the house. We also ventured into Lenox, MA - right next door - and enjoyed some great Italian food at Frankie's Ristorante Italiano on Main Street. I highly recommend this place.

To sum it up, we plan to come back next year and do it all over again if the place is available! So, we were very happy.

Lovely accommodations

  • 5 of 5

I stayed here recently over Thanksgiving weekend. The accommodations are comfortable and the attention to detail refreshing! The kitchen is well equipped and a great size. The rest of the home is well appointed. I arrived to a plate of fresh baked cookies and the apartment smelled wonderful!. I would highly recommend this apartment.
