Clean house, terrible communication with owners on issues.
Hello. We stayed here may 3-7 2025. The house was clean and I truly enjoyed the setup of the kitchen but the issues outweighed the experience and I will not book with the owners again. We didn’t receive our check in details until the day of, I have stayed in houses before the host will give you passes to the gated community and arrangements days before you arrive. We were not provided passes to enter the gate because although a gate existed ANYONE could enter the community. We arrived on a Saturday to a house with 9 bedrooms and bathrooms to match. It only had one hair dryer attached to the wall in the only downstairs bedroom. It was advertised as a hair dryer in every bathroom. The house was 75 degrees and would not cool down for 2 days. I spent my first day there trying to get ahold of anyone who would solve this the same day and they said nothing would be done until Monday and we could go purchase hair dryers to be reimbursed. We had two terrible nights of sleeping until someone finally came and fixed the AC to get to 68 degrees. I did not like the lighting in the house. Every room only had a dimly lit ceiling fan or 1 lamp. It made every bedroom dark. I also told the owner about 3 lamps with the knob broken off, it wasn’t addressed either. The main master down stairs had 3 of the 4 light bulbs out it was awful. The lights in the kitchen are either all on above the island and whole kitchen or all off. It made evenings unenjoyable because that was so bright!
