BRIEF DESCRIPTION: Situated off Highway 385 just south of Deadwood, in the heart of the northern Black Hills, this home is perfect for groups and families, small and large! The home has four bedrooms, 2.5 baths, and a large open plan kitchen and dining area. 

BEDROOMS/BATHROOMS: There are four bedrooms and two and a half baths in this home. The master bedroom, with a King size bed, and ensuite bathroom that has a walk in double headed shower. The other three bedrooms are located on the other side of the home and of course all with King Size beds.

KITCHEN/DINING: The main floor consists of an open plan with the kitchen, dining and living room areas. You have access onto the decks from the main living area, garage and master bedroom.

LIVING ROOM: Reclining lazy boy chairs and couches with recliners, big screen TV.



OUTDOOR AMENITIES: Covered and uncovered decks, propane gas grill, flat iron grill and enough seating to just hang out the rest of the day with family and friends after a day of playing in the Black Hills.

CLOSEST AIRPORT: It is just a 65-mile drive to Rapid City Regional.

NEARBY ACTIVITIES: Deadwood, Spearfish Canyon, Nemo, Sturgis, Rochford, Mount Rushmore, Custer State Park, Hill City, Keystone, Roubaix Lake, Needles Highway, Sylvan Lake, you get the idea, all is a close, this is a great location to do day trips to the best of the best of the Black Hills.

This home was built with handicap grab bars inside and outside every door and bathroom. 36" doors that are accessible from the garage, master bedroom and bath, kitchen, dining and living room. 

We built 2- One Level cabins this past year. Jojo's cabin and the Lodge at Roubaix are pretty much identical and a mile apart on our other ranch. We do require all guests to sign a vacation rental agreement prior to arrival.we are also a pet free home. No exceptions.

Home was exactly as described….even better! Clean, spacious, welcoming, fully loaded with condiments and conveniences; more than expected. Jeri Jo was the best host and so fun to visit with, like being with an ol’ bestie. Great location for our UTV 7 day trip. Ample parking for trucks, trailers, and wheelers. Outdoor space was generous and loved having the blackstone to cook outside. The garage was an added bonus to hang out and play games. (I still suck at Pac-Man I found out). I would highly recommend this rental. We will be back to this property next time we come- we found our perfect location here, close to where we want to be and perfect size property. It’s close to 385 but it was fun to wave at all the UTVs going by. You won’t be disappointed staying here!

This was a great place! The house was super clean, well stocked, and the decor was awesome. There are four king bed bedrooms, a master bath, hallway bath, and a hallway half bath. The living area is a great room design, and has plenty of seating. There is a full porch off the living room with BBQ and a smoker. It was great sitting out there in the evening and watching the last bikes of the day run up and down 385.The garage has games in it, so is a great hangout place too. There's plenty of parking for trucks and trailers, and there's an easy downhill around the side of the yard for two wheel bikes so you don't have to worry about the steep gravel driveway.One of the best parts was having deer wandering through the woods behind the house in the evening. If you've never been to the Black Hills, it's full of wildlife.In closing, this is a wonderful house and the location is perfectly central for the Black Hills, motorcycle riding or just visiting and touring. It is not the cheapest place in the area, but as they say, you get what you pay for. We were completely pleased with our stay and what we got for our money. Jeri was local and was a pleasure to meet. We had great communication leading up to and after the stay. You won't be disappointed if you stay here.

We have stayed in several VRBOs and this one would be top on our list. The host was the best, so accommodating and the house was beautiful and stocked with everything you would need. It was close to so many attractions, Mt Rushmore, crazy horse, devils tower, Needles highway, Custer State Park. We enjoyed sitting on the porch listening to the elk bugling. I would highly recommend this place.

Everything about the house was amazing! And talk about well stocked! There was everything you could ever need in that house. It was spacious and welcoming. We loved that we were able to cook outside on the flat top and the smoker. We also really appreciated that there was plenty of room to park our trailers and side by sides. Father/Son 40th Annual Motorcycle Trip

My husband and 83 yr old father-in-law needed an easy accessible place with room for the trailer and bikes and this was perfect! Beds were comfortable, kitchen had anything you would need, and everything was just so nice! Jeri Jo was very easy to work with and a fantastic host! Highly recommend staying here!!

Easy access to Deadwood and Lead. The construction on 385 made it harder to access the southern hills. The house is beautiful and well appointed. Beds comfortable. It is right off 385 so there is road noise. Host Jeri was so accommodating. We would stay here again!

Jeri Jo and Kurt are the ultimate hosts. They are like the relatives that you only see every few years and catch up instantly! Now…the “Cabin” is the ultimate retreat. Every amenity is there and accessible. The rooms are big, comfortable and luxurious. The decor is impeccable, rustic and elegant at the same time! The location is perfect for seeing the neighboring towns and historic sites. Everything is within a short drive. For bike week, there is no better location!!!

We were the first to be able to rent this brand new home and it was perfect! Comfy beds, pillows, furniture, and everything to make it feel just like home! Loved the decor and sitting out front on the patio! We would definitely go back and stay again. Jeri Jo and Kurt were perfect hosts and we felt like we had known them long before this last week. Everything You Need For a Black Hills Getaway

We have stayed in many vacation rentals over the years, and this is easily one of our favorites. The owners have thought of everything - it is so unbelievably well stocked. The game room in the garage is a wonderful place to hang out. We loved our stay here and would highly recommend it to anyone. It's only a few short minutes south of Deadwood and within short drives to Rapid City, Hill City and Keystone/Mount Rushmore. Communication with the owners was great. They are very thoughtful.

Absolutely amazing

Could not have even dreamed of a better place to stay. Jeri and Kurt were beyond gracious and accommodating- more like family than hosts. I have never stayed in a place where so much attention was paid to making you feel at home. My only disappointment was that we weren’t able to stay longer. That being said- we will most definitely be back!

Why they chose this property

Central to everything in Black Hills. We are just south of Deadwood and sit RIGHT of Hwy 385. Great location for ATVing, motorcycling in the hills, or a great landing point while hitting all the special places the Black Hills has to offer.
The home sits close to all of the trails with easy access to Pactola Lake, Roubaix Lake, Nemo, Deadwood, Lead, Rochford, Sturgis, Spearfish Canyon, Mount Rushmore, Crazy Horse, Hill City, Keystone, Custer State Park. 2 golf courses within a short drive, Lead County Club and Tomahawk Golf Course. Terry Peak Ski area is also just a short drive. Black Hills National Forest backs all of our homes. Wildlife with Elk, deer, turkey if you're hanging out, you may just see or hear them.

Brand New Home built in 2024, 4 king beds in the 4 bedrooms, great open concept with over 3000 square feet that family and friends can spread out in or gather in. Reclining chairs and sofas, seating for everyone, Shop of FUN is our 5-star hang out location that has something for everyone. Kitchen is fully stocked with spices and everything that you would need for a home away from home. Great covered and uncovered deck along with gas firepit for the evening to keep the chill off. Traeger and flat iron grill. Fully house backup generator, ON DEMAND Water Heater no one runs out of hot water, and Wi-Fi of course.
