Perfect location for visiting San Francisco. At one time, this house would have been AMAZING. Now it’s a little old and worn down. Still well worth the money.

Convenient location, nice vistas

The house is pleasantly arranged with lots of space. Excellent location for a family gathering. Convenient to shopping, hiking and transportation. Supplies were adequate. View is lovely and area is quiet.

Beautiful home

My friends and I really enjoyed staying here while visiting the area for a wedding. The home is absolutely beautiful and clean and was perfect for our needs. I want to live here!

Everything We Needed

This home is spacious and had everything we needed to make simple meals and entertain our two young children. Our toddler loved the trampoline, step stool, booster seat, bath toys, kid potty, and few books they had there for his age. Our infant enjoyed the pack n play, bouncer, and play mat. My husband and I love the clean and close by hot tub. It was quite warm on the first day with no AC but opening all the doors and windows helped a ton. The home is dated in most areas but it gets the job done. It’s only 15min from everything in this area… woods, beach, hiking, restaurants.

Wonderful stay

This home was perfect for our families, and the stay could not have been better for our quick trip to the Bay Area. The house was incredible clean and comfortable, and it was well stocked to meet all our needs. The kids especially loved the hot tub and trampoline. We will definitely be back!

Great property for family of 4, but kitchen badly needs a deep clean!

We stayed at this property for a few days visiting the Bay area. We have lived near here before so were aware of driving to most attractions / sights (it's not super walkable). It took us approx. 30 mins to get into SF. The house itself is a quiet location, and a nice layout for a family of 4. The yard is pretty and fun for the kids & dog. Beds and bathrooms were comfortable and clean; a little dated and old. The kitchen is a disaster and really needs a deep clean, Cabinets felt sticky and grimy, several pans/trays had to be washed first. Even the toaster oven was gross. The house manual and tv remote were also pretty oily and grim to touch. There's a ton of cobwebs and leaves all over the exterior windows. Owner says she's remodeling in Sept and wasn't concerned by the dirt when I mentioned it. I'd hold off renting until then, unless you're ok cleaning before you cook..

Great house to relax in not far from San Francisco

This was our last stay on a 2+ week coastal drive up from LA. We spent a few days in downtown San Francisco before this but wanted to spend the last couple days just relaxing before our long flight back to Australia. It was the perfect choice. House is located in a beautiful hilly area with great scenery. Well equipped as well which allowed us to enjoy a few meals in. And the hot tub was great for a relax. Close to Muir Woods and some coastal walks we did and also not far from Sausalito where we had a great modern Mexican meal on our last night.

Great family get away

The place is very kid friendly. Has a couple packNplays even though we brought our own. Beds are comfortable and clean. Very minimal yet has everything you need for cooking. It rained our entire trip so we did not get to use the amenities (trampoline and jacuzzi) but both looked fun. We did use the fireplace which made it really cozy. The only thing missing was a gate for the stairs. We had a 1 year old but we made it work. Check in/out was seamless and a breeze.

Couldn’t give a higher compliment - house and stay was exactly as shown and described in the listing. Heated bathroom floors was a plus! :-)

Beautiful hillside location

This house is tucked up in the hills, which makes for a gorgeous, remote setting. Our kids loved the hot tub and it was easy to get around Marin County. Host was responsive and flexible. It was well-stocked (high chair, pack n play, toys and games, lots of towels and kitchen stuff) but house seemed like it's seen better days. Overall, though, worked well for our family of four for a wedding weekend.

The house was very comfortable and clean and easily accommodated our family with 2 grandchildren!

The house perfectly met our needs! The owner was very easy to work with and nicely accommodated our requests. Beautiful home set in the trees! It was quiet, clean, and had more amenities than we needed. It was the perfect home base for rounding out our wonderful weekend during a beautiful family wedding!!!

Secluded Getaway!

The property is on a tree covered hillside. All the trees effectively separate you from the adjoining properties which were very quiet. The entry and main living area are on the second floor so, basically, you're up in the tree canopy with a nice view of the hills to the west. The house is in very good condition and furnished well to make a comfortable stay. The site is close to a grocery store and vibrant downtown Mill Valley. The property manager was very responsive to any questions we had. We would love to stay at this property again.

Great house and location

Family Vacay

My family stayed for a full week and throughly enjoyed ourselves. The home is well appointed and very clean; It made for a cozy, relaxing stay. We were able to travel between Oakland and San Francisco in less than an hour which allowed us to explore so much of both cities. The only trouble is the hill to the drive way. It is intimidating at first.
