Fun place to stay!
Overall, we enjoyed our stay at Margaritavile in St. Thomas. We stayed at this property in 2018, and everything was so wonderful that we were looking forward to returning. A few things weren't quite as pleasant this time. We arrived at 4:35 p.m. and were told our room was not ready. When I indicated I thought check-in was 4:00 p.m., I was told it was 4:00-6:00 p.m. When we checked in on our previous stay, we were greeted with a margarita, but this time we were greeted with our room not being ready and directed to the concierge trying to sell us travel packages and club memberships. This is definitely not a good idea when we had been up since 2:00 a.m. to catch a 5:00 a.m. flight and were just tired and hungry. I understand the concierge was just doing their job, and he was as pleasant and patient as could be, but it just didn't sit well with us at that particular time. The second issue we had was that we were looking so forward to relaxing in the hot tub after our long day, but when we check in we found out it had been filled in with concrete and repaced with a fire pit that didn't work. So that made two disappointments in a row right off the bat. Fortunately, it was uphill from there. We enjoyed the property and the live entertainment. And we ate several meals at the restaurant on the propery. Thomas and Lisa were great to work with and very communicative. Even though we had some minor issues we would definitely return to Margaritaville.
