About Henry Druker

Although we live in the east, have been coming to Aspen for over thirty years. Having seen countless homes, this is the one that combines the best of everything

Henry Druker purchased this house in 2005

Why Henry Druker chose Red Mountain

Aspen is a wonderful town and we believe Red Mountain is the best neighborhood. It truly affords views of the mountains' majesty, and all rooms have great views (unlike the core or west end where many bedrooms, family rooms are generally below grade). It is only a short five minute drive to town, and all connecting transportation from there if one wishes to the other ski areas. This five minute drive puts you on top of it all, with views of all the mountains that make Aspen famous, as well as the twinkling lights of town. It is serene, quiet, and peaceful, a wonderful place to relax with family and friends, and easy to get to town whenever you want.

What makes this house unique

Elegant, comfortable surroundings nestled in the most beautiful of dramatic mountain settings.

Pictures do not do this Red Mountain home justice!

  • 5 of 5

We had a great end of summer rendezvous with two of our daughters at Henry's fabulous home. Our whole family shares a love of Aspen for all it has to offer both summer and winter. On this visit, we hiked Lost man Trail up to Hidden Lake, caught a bunch of trout floating the Roaring Fork, took a long bike ride on the Rio Grande Trail, rode the Gondo up to the Sundeck and took in the scenery with a glass of wine, and of course took advantage of the town's deep restaurant bench.

Henry and his property managers made the transition in and out seamless.

We promptly booked a slot for ski season.

Enjoy the views!

Owner's Response: Thanks so much for the wonderful review Tom! I am so happy that you and your family loved the house, and of course Aspen! I am also very appreciative that you commented so positively on my team. I am proud to have developed a first class support team for all my guests.... caretaker who also does meet and greet , takes care of anything that may come up during stay; five star concierge who can make restaurant and special request reservations; and cleaning crew to keep the house clean upon arrival, as well as provide services upon request during stay. I strive to provide a total vacation experience, situated on the most beautiful setting in all of Aspen. So glad we developed a friendship during your stay, and that you have already booked five weeks this winter!! All the best, Henry

Beautiful mountain home

  • 5 of 5

My family and I loved our stay here. Nearly the entire front of the house is glass, and the views are spectacular: Ajax, Highlands and Buttermilk laid out in a row, with the town of Aspen below them. The amenities and furnishings in the home are all excellent, the kitchen and grill are great, and the hot tub was a welcome end to our active days. I'd highly recommend this home.

Owner's Response: Thanks Tom for your great review! I am so happy you and your family loved the house. I know you have stayed in many great places before, and so pleased that my house lived up to your expectations! Also great to hear you loved the kitchen.... It's a great place to cook with the whole family around the dining room , with the views of all the Aspen mountains before you. My caretaker who met and greeted you on your arrival said how nice you and your family are, and how appreciative of the house. Looking forward to your return visit! All the best, Henry

Awesome Home in Aspen, CO

  • 5 of 5

We visited Aspen in July for a special family vacation. Having visited Aspen for over 25 years, this was only our second visit during the Summer. We normally stay at The Little Nell but because the family has grown with wives and children, we chose to rent a home. Wow, what a home and a great time we had in Aspen. The home was beautiful and worked well for our family of 11! Beautiful views, no matter what the time of day. Everyone was comfortable in their own "suite" and the owner could not have been more accommodating! We hope to return soon.

Owner's Response: Thanks so much for the great review John! I am so glad you loved the house, and that it worked so well for your family. You were the perfect guest. I know my caretaker who met and greeted you, attended to a few questions during your stay, told me you were so appreciative and easy to work with. Glad you loved the views and the layout of the house. I too think it is far more pleasant than the best hotels in town, with the views, privacy and space. Looking forward to your return visit! All best, Henry

Exceptional House and Host

  • 5 of 5

Our extended family converged in Aspen to celebrate a significant birthday and to enjoy the Aspen Food and Wine fest. The location and views are one of a kind. The house was very comfortable and well equipped for our guests and for a catered dinner party. Henry was extremely conscientious and professional through the entire process. We would not hesitate to stay here again.

Owner's Response: Thanks so much Scott and Laura, It was wonderful having you stay at my house, and I am glad you love it as much as we do! I knew you would enjoy, from our first phone call discussing your vacation plans and the house, and thereafter in coordinating everything. Glad the birthday dinner for your Mom went so well, and your family had a special place to celebrate! My caretaker and cleaner reported you kept everything clean and tidy as well, so much appreciated! Looking forward to your next visit, and hosting your friends and colleagues as well. All the best, Henry

ONE WORD: AWESOME!

  • 5 of 5

We stayed at this house 3 times. It feels always like coming home. This season we were able to watch from the terrace directly the slope preparation for the World Cup Finals 2017! It was so great to see all this live - during the night, all the lights from the Slope Bullys and during the morning hours - all the people arriving for do all the work on the slops to make the RACE great for everybody. After having fun - out in the ski area, coming back to this "home place" and it makes our days perfect. With a spectacular panoramic view, all over the four Aspen ski areas and the peaks beyond. During sun set, the high peaks change colors, from dazzling white to soft pink to deep purple – an amazing light show. You can watch this nearly from every room of the house! It’s a relaxing and magic in every way. The house itself is perfect for any type of vacation. The luxurious bedroom/bathroom suites are all separated from each other, so they’re quiet and private. The house is comfortable in any way. You find, whatever you need. The kitchen is fantastic and well-appointed. The owner, Henry - he is a friend now. The conversation with him is very friendly and he is always reachable, if you have any question or need response. You are not alone with the house. You can reach him every time. We love this house, it makes our Aspen Vacation unforgettable - with the feeling for "coming home". And of course we love to come back! See you next winter!!!!

Beauty, convenience, and comfort on Red Mountain

  • 5 of 5

I’ve stayed at this house several times over the years, and each time, it feels like coming home. My most recent visit was in late March, 2017 - right after the World Cup finals left town. The snow was great, and it was a thrill to ski the legendary “America’s Downhill” course on Ajax with the dye still visible from the gate markings! After a great day of skiing (or hiking or biking or any kind of outdoor fun), coming back to this house adds a whole new dimension to your Aspen experience. It feels as if you’re on top of the world, with a spectacular panoramic vista encompassing all four Aspen ski areas and the jagged peaks beyond. As the sun sets, the high peaks change colors, from dazzling white to soft pink to deep purple – an amazing light show. Step out on the deck at night, and you’ll see the Milky Way above and the lights of Aspen twinkling down below. It’s a relaxing and magical setting in every way. But the surprising thing is, it’s an easy, five-minute drive into town. The house itself is perfect for any type of group: couples, families, gatherings of friends, etc. The luxurious bedroom/bathroom suites are all widely separated from each other, so they’re quiet and private. Each is well supplied with homey comforts. Everything flows together into a huge common area, with plenty of spaces for socializing, dining, watching TV, hanging out in front of the fire, whatever. The kitchen is large and well-appointed. The owner is very responsive and easy to work with. This spectacular house will do far more than just “provide accommodations” for your visit – it will enhance your Aspen experience and give you many great memories for years to come. Enjoy!
