You’ll have starry night skies, peace and quiet, skiing and hiking nearby, and Boone and App State are just 15 minutes away. We know you'll love your stay at the NC Modern Mountaintop Sanctuary.

The most perfect stay!

This was easily the most beautiful place I have ever stayed! It’s so peaceful and relaxing and is truly such a special place. It was super clean, the kitchen was well-equipped and there are so many things that make this property stand out from the rest! The views are gorgeous! I loved the heated floors, sauna and hot tub. I could have happily stayed here forever! Book this place, you won’t regret it!

Absolutely gem!

We loved our stay at Sara’s place! There were 7 adults and 2 babies, and we all comfortably stayed at the house. The house is beautifully designed, exceptionally clean, and has everything you could need. The incredible view, hot tub and sauna are the icing on the cake! Communication was great. We’d highly recommend staying here.

I can't say enough about what a beautiful and comfortable place to stay. Beautiful view, gorgeous and comfy furniture, well stocked kitchen gear, comfortable beds, etc. And exceptionally clean! I want to make it my home. What more can I say? It was beyond my wildest dreams!
