This 750 sq ft Casita with 1 bedroom and 2 bathrooms is well equipped with high speed fiber optic internet and clear cellular service. Pet friendly with treats, food/water bowls and pet towels. Property is fully fenced for pets to run although please be aware that if the main house is occupied, the grounds are shared. Please be mindful of other pets that may be on the property especially when opening and closing the gate. The owners were great, this was such a perfect spot for us and our puppy, neighborhood is quiet, great place to stay for a week in flagstaff

Short 'n' sweet pit stop

Stayed one night at the casita with our toddler and dog on a road trip and only wished we could have had more time on the property! The toddler and doggy loved getting their energy out exploring the grounds and treehouse. We found everything we needed in the stylish, well-appointed cabin (washer and dryer, clawfoot bathtub and snacks are wonderful touches) and enjoyed a great night of sleep before hitting the road early the next morning. The close proximity to downtown Flagstaff (just a 5 min drive) is a huge plus! Would definitely stay here again when in the area.

Such a beautiful little gem!

Gorgeous little home with incredible sights! The stars at nice were absolutely unbelievable. Everything was so cozy and they had all the amenities. Definitely worth the stay. Quick drive to downtown Flagstaff.

Perfect weekend getaway!

My husband and I stayed here for a little cabin getaway with our dog! It was so nice to have the property for our dog to run and play. The casita was so cute and cozy, we will definitely be back in the future!

The property was exactly as advertised and super dog friendly - they had dog bowls and dog treats! Very clean ans secure too. I will be staying here again if I come back to Flagstaff!

Snowy Night in Flagstaff

Casita was super clean bordering on brand new. Thoughtfully designed for 1-2 people traveling with a dog. Yard was huge & full of fresh powder. Our German Shepherd - Bear was in Heaven! Highly recommended.

Amazing mountain escape

Brought my pups and my fiancé to escape the city and warm weather and was pleasantly surprised with amazing weather and beautiful views and very friendly hosts. I have never stayed or seen a farmhouse style home and it was so well put together, definitely might be making this trip a tradition from Now on.

Clean, quiet, cozy cottage

We only had time to stay one night, but wished we had more. We had our pup with us and were happy to see how dog-friendly our hosts were- dog bowls set out, dog cookies in a jar, and a cushy dog bed in the closet. We didn’t dare use the dog bed since our pup is 9 mos and still likes to chew some things. Also, this sweet casita was immaculate and appeared newly remodeled.

SO RELAXING

Loved this property from the moment we drove up! The furnishings and decor are stylish, warming and beautiful. It was spotless, well stocked with everything you could possibly need. Easy access from freeway and close to Historic Downtown Flagstaff. A special touch was provided for our fur 🐶 baby’s. Highly recommended ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Amazing and Pet Friendly!

This property was in a beautiful location with a great view of the mountains and easy access to hiking trails and everything Flagstaff has to offer. The hosts were very easy to contact and quick to help if needed. The casita was beautiful, clean, and comfortable. The neighborhood was quiet and peaceful. Best of all, the house was very pet friendly. They even had a food/water bowl and dog treats available! We would definitely stay there again.

Cozy getaway, but…

There were several little things here and there that added up to an okay stay, rather than a great one. Cons: The solar powered front gate did not work, the Wi-Fi was pretty slow, the paper shades had to be held up with clips, and there was not enough counter space on the bathroom sinks. Also, the bedroom got hot with the door closed. Pros: Place was very clean, with plenty of kitchen gear to make your own meals. The well-stocked Keurig was a nice touch. Beautiful view from the front porch to sit and watch the sunset over the mountains. Host responded quickly to messages.

Long weekend...Great place to chill...

Wow, where do I start? Property is a bit out of town & not on the beaten path...but has everything you could need for a relaxing getaway. Fully fenced property is perfect for bringing dogs or youngsters who may need safe containment. Peak views from porch, walking distance to a large county park & easy drive to many hiking trails...Flagstaff a ten minute drive to groceries, shopping mall & restaurants. Great "home away from home" for exploring many additional area "day trip" recreational opportunities (Grand Canyon, Wupatki, Snow Bowl, etc...) Flagstaff offers amenities such as disc golf, bowling, zip-line...as well as many community events throughout the year. (Plenty of fun here!) Hosts were responsive to minor issue during stay (front gate keypad not working properly). Cozy & comfortable. Every essential you could ask for. Zero hassle. Wish I could have stayed longer! Am hoping to return...

Very cute and updated casita / cabin in Flagstaff

Love that it was pet friendly so we could bring our pup with us to enjoy the outdoors in Flagstaff. She definitely felt very at home and comfortable here! The location isn’t too far from the spots we planned to visit in Flagstaff and access through the gates and into the unit were easy and reliable. The unit itself is up to date (likely new) and nicely appointed. The only issues we had were that the WiFi did not work and the host said we could connect to the main lodge network but that did not work either - it was an inconvenience to not have the WiFi as we planned to put a puppy cam on our dog in her crate to keep a watch on her while we went to dinner, but we weren’t able to do that. We were not able to stream any TV or music during our stay. One other issue that the host should take note of are the bathroom water faucets and the smaller bathroom shower fixture. We preferred that bathroom since the shower had a door (main shower has no door and is a bit too airy) - the fixtures are affected by hard water calcium and the holes are blocked in the shower head and spray water every which way, and the stream isn’t very strong. The sink fixtures are too large for the sink so the water extends too far out (almost to the edge) of the sink and I couldn’t wash my face or brush my teeth without getting lots of water on the floor. Otherwise it’s a very cute place to stay; clean, comfortable, and updated. We appreciated the snacks and our pup felt at home. We’d stay again. Thank you!

Hi everyone! My name is Shaun Lovett and I am originally from Massachusetts but have lived in many places to include Florida, Texas, Oklahoma, Colorado, New Mexico, South Carolina and Arizona. I love to travel, hunt, fish, hike, exercise, and experience all of the phenomenal activities Arizona has to offer. I have visited most of the 50 states and several countries outside of the United States. My family has always been an active one, however, with four children and three under three our pace of travel has slowed. With that, we purchased a phenomenal home in Flagstaff to facilitate a get away to beat the heat in the summer and establish a base camp for skiing & hunting in the winter. We wanted to extend our property to others to make some of the same great memories we have when we are unable to take advantage of the property.

What makes this property unique

The Peaks View Casita is located on a beautiful 2.5 acre plot with incredible mountain views. Our home is fully fenced so you furry friends have plenty of room to run. The neighborhood is quiet and easy to get to. If you're lucky, you might stumble across a herd of elk grazing on nearby land for their morning or evening feed while arriving or leaving the property. In the winter the paved roads leading all the way to our property will help minimize accessibility concerns even in harsher weather.
