Nice place BUT…
My family and I stayed at the house and it was overall a good stay just had some inconveniences. The property manager was phenomenal; very responsive and super helpful. Location was great and neighborhood was quiet.
Issues:
-My daughter found ants on the floor while she was playing with her toys, we then found THREE ant traps in the kitchen covered in dead and live ants. If theres an ant issue, fix it. I felt like they were crawling on me throughout the remainder of our stay.
-A lot of the light switches just didn’t work. The foyer light was out along with the light in the master bedroom. You have to manually pull the light on the fan for the light to turn on in the bedroom.
-My husband and I stayed in one of the other bedrooms and while getting ready for bed, I found what looks like a used contact on the sheets. Not sure what it was but after finding the ants, it was not a great look.
-The last thing was the thermostat set to 84 cool at the end of May. It was so hot in the house, we had to continue to adjust the temperature throughout our stay because it seemed like it was just auto set to 84.
Some suggestions:
[ ] Provide extra pillows
[ ] Provide more in the kitchen: a toaster, can opener, more k-cup options
[ ] Add some paintings or art to the walls
Im not sure if this house has regular foot traffic or sits unattended until someone books it but definitely seemed a little neglected minus the landscaping and occasional clean. Definitely has great potential.
