About the property

Townhome, 3 Bedrooms + loft bed, 3 Baths, Sleeps 8

This LUXURY old-town/downtown Frisco duplex is warm and open with vaulted ceilings, great views, and lots of southern exposure. 2 block walk to free shuttle to all four Summit County ski areas (Breckenridge, Arapahoe Basin, Copper, Keystone). Hot tub. Centered between six great ski areas.

We're a little pricier than some because you won't see anything this nice with these amenities anywhere else.

Located one block off of Main Street with all the great Frisco shopping, restaurants, and bars. Two minute walk to Bagali's, the Boat Yard, 5th Avenue Grille, Ore House, and the Moose Jaw to name a few. Great views from large windows on three sides and decks off the north and sunny south end of the house - Mt. Royal, the Ten Mile Range, the Continental Divide, Wichita Peak, Buffalo Mountain. Ten Mile Creek and its Recreation Path are only ½ a block from the front door.

The house is in the quiet charming old mountain town section of town. We're not in the big box area near the highway or in a distant crowded subdivision.

This is a 3 bedroom, 3 bathroom, 2,400 square foot, two-level duplex with a 2 car garage. Recent $150k remodel!

About Gordon Reinert

This property is normally not a rental. It's my personal ski retreat.

Gordon Reinert purchased this townhome in 2001

Why Gordon Reinert chose Frisco

Downtown Frisco is fantastic, charming, and fun. It's nestled between all of Colorado's central ski areas. You're not tied to one area. Wake up in the morning, check the snow report, and grab the free ski shuttle or take a short drive to the POW!

What makes this townhome unique

Walk everywhere. Stroll a couple of blocks to all the great shops, restaurans, and bars on beautiful historic Main Street. You don't enven need a car. Door to door shuttle from the Denver airport and free ski shuttles are only a couple of blocks away. Walk everywhere else. Frisco offers everything you could want from a ski town!

Guestbook comments from the owner

This is the second summer in a row that we have stayed in this wonderful townhouse. I almost resist calling it a townhouse because it truly is a home all to itself. We have stayed in many VRBO accommodations all over the country, and this place is the most “complete” that we have experienced. There is excellent communication between owner and renter from the get-go. That’s a huge plus to not be left wondering about things. We got our arrival information several days before our trip began, so there was no second-guessing how we might get into the rental. All of the information about the home was clear and we had no problems whatsoever with anything while we were there. We know, however, that had we had problems we would have been taken care of. As well as the great accessibility to town and to hiking trails, two things stuck out to me this year. We had five adults and three kids ages four and under, so life had the potential to be a bit chaotic. The house was stocked with everything we needed from dish soap to shower soap, tp, spices, you name it. There was no lack of kitchen tools or anything else to make the week easy. The second thing was how easy it was to leave. We have stayed places with cleaning check-lists that made us feel more like a cleaning person than a guest. Not so in this home— it was quick and easy to clean up and leave. That was a huge gift to me. Simply put, you can’t go wrong staying here. We are grateful for such a wonderful return visit.

Beautiful Get Away

  • 5 of 5

Outstanding home with very comfortable furnishings. Love the artwork and natural light! I also greatly appreciated the extensive attention to detail these owners gave to making sure directions to everything were laid out ahead of time and then again when you actually got in the house in case there was anything not working ( I.e. Tv, lights, locks). Love the labels!! Would absolutely come here again...

Once again, home!

  • 5 of 5

This is our second summer stay at this wonderful home, and this time we had added one more grandchild. There were eight of us (three are four and under), and we had plenty of space. This home has everything and is so wonderfully accessible to all of Frisco-- from Main Street to parks and hiking trails. It is well stocked with all one might need, and what I really appreciate as we are trying to gather everyone up to leave, is that the check-out requirements are minimal. That certainly eliminates much stress as we head back to "life as usual". We hope to have at least another summer getaway next year and would recommend this home to all.

Great Location; Beautiful and Well Equipped!

  • 5 of 5

First of all, we have stayed in many condos and townhouses in Frisco during the summer. This duplex unit is by far the nicest and best equipped. And we can't say enough about the responsiveness of both the owner Gordon and the management company Book By Owner. More on that later!

LOVE the 2 car garage! Very rare in Frisco. We are cyclists so was great not to have to find a spot to park bikes overnight. For skiers, a great setup for boot-drying...we got caught in the rain one day and used it to dry our cycling shoes! Setup is 3 bedrooms, 2 baths on lower level with living area, kitchen and 3rd full bath upstairs. This worked perfectly for our 2 couples or a family but might have been a little inconvenient for 3 couples with the 3rd bath upstairs. Nice roomy living space. Awesome location so close to Main St. Washer/dryer that WORKS! Seems in most rentals it takes hours for stuff to dry. FULLY EQUIPPED! We've had rentals lately that didn't even supply hand/shower soap or toilet paper and paper towels. This unit was fully stocked with extras to spare. Luxurious towels and bedding and high end kitchen appliances. The pictures are right on!

Now to customer service....our car died while we were there and repair was not completed until 2 days after our check-out date. Plus we had our bike trailer parked in the garage - with no vehicle to move it! Both Gordon and Book by Owner were extremely responsive and worked with us to extend our stay 2 more nights - allowing us to stay in the unit when he planned to be there. They were starting a re-furb of the exterior, so can't wait to see it next year!

Very private, close to Main Street

  • 5 of 5

Great place with nice touches like little containers of shampoo, conditioner & body lotion in each bathroom. Beds were very comfortable. Great open floor plan with bedrooms on lower level and living area on upper level. Ours was a girlfriend trip. We plan to be back

Great place to stay close to Breck and Copper

  • 5 of 5

We initially chose this place in Frisco because it was a nice central location between Breckenridge and Copper Mountain. If you want to visit both, this place is perfect! Very clean and the owner was extremely responsive. Enough space for the 8 of us. Would definitely recommend this to anybody!

Very relaxing, comfortable, and convenient stay!

  • 5 of 5

This is our second time to stay at this location. We enjoyed it even more than before. The linens are taken care of, the kitchen is stocked with supplies, the beds and couches are soft and comfy, the location relative to the Copper shuttle, restaraunts, bars, shopping, Frisco Adventure Park, Breckenridge for ice skating, and Hoosier pass for a beautiful drive are great for what we consider a perfect vacation. Thanks for everything!
