Paoli Den is the fully refinished lower flat of this peaceful and clean vacation rental in the heart of Verona with a major bike path right in the backyard! This space offers a full kitchen, comfortable dining space, two queen bedrooms and a bonus space that sleeps one person. Please note that the bonus space is a comfy day bed but does not offer privacy as it is a shared space. Minutes from EPIC and highly walkable. The expansive yard offers a fire-pit area, yard games, outdoor dining and grill for guests. We provide all necessities for a relaxing stay including multiple options for coffee and tea lovers. We aim to provide a five-star experience for all guests who choose our space! Please note! This is the lower flat of a three-flat home.

Everything was very nice, clean, the extra amenities for little ones and adults that may have been forgotten or just to make rainy days a little better were great. My only complaint is that I didn’t realize it was just a renovated basement, no windows and a little on the chilly side but that could’ve been my own fault for not reading between the lines of lower flat. All around it was a nice stay.

Really enjoyed our stay at Paoli Den. The hosts were great at communicating and getting back to me! Only thing I would mention is since it is the lower level of the home, the air conditioner made it slightly cold. But was the perfect stay while in town for a wedding!

We could not have been happier with this gem! It was a basement apartment with a charming kitchen equipped with so many extra special touches (espresso machine stocked with pods, coffee press and drip machine with coffee provided, milk frother, welcome basket with snacks). The bathroom and kitchen and washer and dryer had everything you’d need and there were books and games and magazines around that made us feel right at home. There were also adorable touches in the shared foyer including bubbles, sunscreen, bug spray. The location is excellent and we will definitely be returning!

Stayed for the workweek with my teenage son. Felt comfortable walking outside and having my kid drive himself places (he is used to small town driving). Easy drive over to UW for practices but nice to be ‘living’ out of the bigger city. Loved seeing all the fireflies in the backyard each evening. Very attentive host, easy to communicate with and quick responses. Comfortable bed, nice bathroom and kitchen had what was needed to be able to make our own foods. Amazed how much light came in the bedrooms through the egress windows with drapes. Did not give the feeling of being in a basement. Nice keyless entry to both the house and floor. Appreciated specified location for parking for each house level so we always had our spot. Many shopping options near by. Would stay again if in the area.

Staying here at Paoli Den was enjoyable. The hosts were very attentive to my needs and always quick to respond to any questions or comments I had. The full kitchen was really nice and well equipped. The welcoming snacks were a nice touch.

Nice Cozy Place

Paoli Den is very clean and nicely finished. The kitchen is great and had all the amenities four of us needed while attending a family reunion over a long weekend. We appreciated the coffee, the Wifi, and the lamps in the bedrooms with 120v outlets and USB. A minor criticism is the couch in the living area sits a bit too low to be comfortable for most. Communication from the hosts was clear and very welcoming. They left a nice array of snacks for us when we arrived. A suggestion is to install a railing on the outdoor stairs. It would have helped one in our group with mobility issues.

We were here for daughter’s graduation weekend. The home is clean, well stocked with fun features (coffee, tea, espresso, s’more fixings for campfire,etc) cozy and comfortable. Easy back and forth trips to Madison campus. Owners are quick to respond and left us a fun beverage sampler pack!

Quick weekend trip

Cute and clean lower level apartment that had everything we needed. The host was extremely responsive and added personal touches to make us feel welcomed. There are some stairs to navigate and other tenants in the building, but we had no problems.

We were in town for a wedding, and this was the perfect place for us and our two young children. The space was very clean and had everything we needed for our stay. The host was extremely friendly and helpful and was quick to respond to any messages. We would definitely recommend!

Madison Getaway

Property was clean and laid out nicely. Beds were very comfortable! Kitchen was nice and very functional. Location was great as it’s close to our daughter and son in laws home. Michelle was very responsive to questions and care package was a nice touch coming into the living space! Perfect size for 2-3 people. Our dogs enjoyed as well! Thank you Michelle!

I am a proud mama raising two kiddos with my better half. In my work world, I am a sociology professor who loves teaching and inspiring students. When I can find that slice of time, I like to read, garden, hike, and spend time with good friends. I love connecting with others and finding common ground. I do my best to make "seizing the day" and "smelling the roses" more than clichés in my life.

I genuinely enjoy hosting guests and aim to create a space that is warm, inviting, and squeaky clean! We want our guests to really enjoy themselves and feel at home during their stay. We are local and always here to help when it is needed.

Verona is an excellent location for Madison events or visits but offers such a walkable and inviting neighborhood. You can walk to all of your needs. And the highway is right there so you can easily access so many surrounding areas easily.

Qué hace que este alojamiento sea especial

We have almost an acre of land in the middle of a beautiful community. Our back yard is spacious and tree-lined and boasts the Military Ridge Trail right there. I think the tree lined outdoor space and ease of location is the best feature.
